Hostel
There are separate hostels for boys and girls on campus. Rooms are provided with single accommodation with all basic amenities in them.
Entrance Test
Admission to this university is based on the entrance test for the various programmes; after the test Merit list of candidates for different academic programmes shall be displayed on the Notice-Boards and the University’s Website. Intimation shall be granted to the Candidates called for Admission.
In addition, the selected students shall be needed to get their admission completed by the dates provided in the Prospectus. If a candidate fails to meet the admission formalities by the prescribed dates, he/she shall automatically forfeit his/her admission.
Also, universities accept entrance test results of CAT, MAT, CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE.
Infrastructure
Doon University campus spread over an area of 52 acres; it offers a scenic campus with state-of-art infrastructure, well-maintained classrooms, computer labs, seminar halls, an auditorium and much more.

Who was Ram Lal Anand
Ram Lal Anand College was founded in the year 1964 by Late Shri Ram Lal Anand, a senior advocate in the Supreme Court of India, in response to the growing social demand in the sixties for providing educational opportunities at the university level. The college was initially managed by the Ram Lal Anand College Trust. It was later taken over by the University of Delhi. Since 1973, it has been run by the University of Delhi as a University Maintained Institution.
The college is located in the picturesque surroundings against the backdrop of the Aravali ranges in the neighbourhood of the South Campus of the University of Delhi and several other educational institutions. It has a vast campus, spread over ten acres of land with green lawns and elegant buildings of much sprawling architectural merit. The college has excellent infrastructure, with state of the art Laboratories, Seminar room, Amphitheatre, Library, Playground and Cafeteria. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Being a multi-disciplinary, co-educational institution it has approximately 2500 students pursuing different courses in Arts, Commerce and Science streams. Ram Lal Anand College is administered by a statutory Governing Body as per the University Ordinances and legislated by the Executive Council of the University of Delhi.
Doon University have a large Library
The Central Library was set up in 2009 to support the teaching learning process in the University, and since then the Library has been consistently making efforts to develop a strong collection of learning resources and to provide access to knowledge through its services. The Library is broadly divided into two parts; Reading Section and Circulation Section. Both sections combined have a good number of printed documents, including textbooks, reference books, reports, yearbooks, manuals, and case studies. The circulation section consists of books of all the UG/PG courses covered by the different schools of the university and one can issue a designated number of books from this section.
In order to support the teaching and research process of the University, the Library is subscribing both print and electronic based journals, a total of 69 print journals/magazines and 126 e-journals of Science Direct are available in the library, apart from this Library also provides access to more than 6000 e-journals through INFLIBNET consortia.
