2. FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA(FTII)

NSD institute is located in NEW DELHI. This institute is semi-public and semi-government. This institute was developed by Sangeet Natak Akademi. The institute offers a diploma in dramatic arts. For admission to the institute, the candidates are supposed to qualify for an aptitude test conducted by the institute. Then, the shortlisted students will have to attend a workshop of five days organized by the institute within the premises This institute provides courses like PG diploma [3 years] and diploma in dramatic arts [3 years]. NSD’s fees range from 5000 to 7000. NSD has no Placement Cell, nor does it provide any placement assistance to its students. The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a digital platform where registered scholarship seekers can apply for more than 50 scholarships from state and central governments, the University Grants Commission (UGC).
4. BARRY JOHN ACTING STUDIO (BJAS)
BJAS institute is located in MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA. This is a private institute. BJAS consistently ranks as one of the top acting courses in India. Candidates who are 18 plus do not need to do any audition. This institute offers two courses:(a) Diploma in film acting whose total fee is around Rs3,54,000 (b)certificate course in acting whose total fee is aroundRs59,000. This institute doesn’t provide any placement. No companies come for campus placements. All students have to look outside to get the job.

ICE institute is located in ANDHERI EAST, MUMBAI, INDIA. This is a private institute. The institute, started by Balaji Telefilms, offers courses in the field of filming and performing arts. The institute is one of its kind, as it is probably one of the very few institutes that offer certified courses in the field of Visual Storytelling, thus, has a huge contribution to the Media and Entertainment Industry. ICE Institute offers a total of 18 courses. The courses can be availed both in online and offline modes. For all the courses students must have completed Primary School (Class 5). This institute organizes an entrance exam according to it the applicant gets admission. This institute doesn’t offer any placement to the students. The students have to look for jobs by themselves.
