Assam Science and Technology University conducts the Assam CEE entrance exam for admission of eligible candidates in first-year B.Tech courses offered by the university. The Assam CEE 2022 exam is of 3 hours duration in which various questions based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be asked to test the candidate’s ability.
Latest Notification
ASTU is going to release Assam CEE Admit Card on June 18, 2022, at the official website astu.ac.in. In order to download the admit card candidates have to log in using their application form number and password. Assam CEE 2022 Admit Card contains important information such as exam date, time, center, guidelines, etc.Assam CEE 2022 Application Form is closed now. Assam CEE 2022 will be conducted on July 3, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm.
Candidates must have passed class 12 with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English from Assam bard or any other recognized board to be eligible for Assam CEE 2022. Candidates who are appearing for Assam CEE 2022 must go through Assam CEE 2022 syllabus for their preparation. Applicants may also refer to Assam CEE 2022 exam pattern and the previous year's question papers to bring a good score in the exam.
Registration
Assam CEE 2022 application form had released on May 10, 2022 on the official website. Candidates can fill Assam CEE 2022 Application Form until May 31, 2022.
- University provides the admission-related information on the website and also in the local newspapers.
- Candidates can fill the application form through online mode.
- Candidates have to register themselves by filling all the required details.
- After that candidates can login to the website with application number/username and password.
- Candidates have to upload the recent color passport size photograph of maximum size 35KB and minimum is 20KB.
- There is no need to send copy the application form or any document to the university.

Mathematics: Complex numbers, Differential Calculus, Differential Equations, Dynamics, Integral Calculus, Sets, Relations and Functions, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Its Applications, Sequences and Series, Sequences and Series, Two-Dimensional Geometry, Three-Dimensional Geometry, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Statics, Dynamics, Trigonometry, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction and Its Application, Binomial Theorem and Its Applications, Vector Algebra.
Physics: Laws of Motion, Rotational Motion and Moment of Inertia, Solids and Fluids, Units and Measurement, Oscillations, Waves, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Current Electricity, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Atoms, Molecules and Nuclei, Solids and Semi-Conductors Devices, Ray Optics, Units and Measurement, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Work, Energy and Power, Transference of Heat, Electrostatics.
Chemistry: States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Some Basic Concepts, Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical Energetics and Thermodynamics, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Rates of Chemical Reactions and Chemical Kinetics, Chemistry of Non-Metals – 1, Chemistry of Non-Metals – 2, Coordination Chemistry and Organo-Metallic, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Some Basic Principles, Organic Compound Containing Halogens, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Synthetic and Natural Polymers, Chemistry in Action, Environmental Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Nuclear Chemistry.
Eligibility Criteria
There are certain conditions of eligibility that candidates have to fulfill to be eligible for Assam CEE 2022. These requirements are termed as the eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2022. To participate in the examination, it is necessary for the candidates to satisfy the criteria set by the authorities.
Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2022
Candidates will have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions for Assam CEE 2022 -
- Age Limit – The candidates have to be between 17 to 21 years old. For SC/ST candidates, 3 years relaxation is provided in the upper age limit. Candidates applying for B.Sc can apply till the age of 22 years.
- Nationality – The candidates should be of Indian nationality
- Domicile – Should be permanent residents of Assam
- Qualifying Examination – The candidates should have qualified their 10+2 standard (or equivalent) examination and studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. They should have passed the mentioned subjects individually.
- Marks Required – An aggregate mark of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should have been secured by the candidates in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For SC category, the aggregate mark is 45%, while for ST category it is 40%.
For Engineering Degree Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidates must appear in 12th or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
- Subjects: Candidates must qualify for the qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
- Minimum Marks: The candidate must obtain 50% marks (45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
For BAMS/BHMS Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates applying for the exam should pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam.
- Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as a subject.
- Minimum Marks: The Candidate must score 50% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
Counselling
- All candidates who are listed in the released merit list will have to fill and submit Form B to be registered for Assam CEE 2022 Counselling Session.
- While filling Form B, the candidates will have to select their 3 choices of course and college (in order of preference).
- The personal and educational details of the candidate also has to be filled.
- The filled Form B has to be submitted at the counselling venue along with other required documents.
- After the documents are successfully verified, the candidates will have to sit for an interview.
- Payment of the counselling fees has to be done.
- Allotment of seats will done as per the merit of the candidate, their preferred choices and availability of seats during the counselling session.
- The allotted candidates will have to report at their respective institutes and complete the admission formalities.
- If the candidates are not able to finish the admission formalities within the allotted time then their seat will be cancelled.

Candidates preparing for Assam CEE 2022 must familiarise themselves with the Assam CEE 2022 Exam Pattern so as to get an idea of the question paper format.
- Duration of Exam: Each paper shall be of 3 hours duration.
- Number of Questions: It shall contain 40 questions from each subject.
- Type of Question: The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions.
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 4 marks.
- Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
