DSSSB PRT recruitment is conducted by the department of education to appoint teachers for the Government schools of Delhi. Every year conduct this education drive to appoint teachers.

Candidates have to fulfill eligibility criteria and go through a selection process before getting this job. There is a written exam for the candidates who apply for this post and also a medical test in the last. The written test is divided into 2 sections and is of 200 marks in total with negative marking for every wrong answer.

Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age in case of general category, must have done D.Ed/B.El.Ed or any other relevant course. Candidates also have to go through a selection process for the DSSSB PRT post. Candidates have to go through a written exam and clear it according to the cut-off released by the authorities.

The DSSSB PRT recruitment is for the primary teacher for government schools. The role of the primary teacher is to teach students up to the 5th standard. Syllabus

As the notification and the details related to the 2022 DSSSB PRT recruitment are not yet announced. Although for some years the syllabus has been the same.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the DSSSB PRT post candidates have to fulfil some eligibility criteria consisting of age limit criteria and minimum education qualification criteria. If by any chance candidates are unable to fulfil any of the mentioned criteria they don’t qualify to apply for the post. Below are the required eligibility criteria: -

Education Qualification Criteria

Candidates applying for this course must have acquired a certain level of education.

Candidates applying for the DSSSB PRT must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
Candidates must also be pursuing a diploma or degree courses like diplomas in elementary educations/B.El.Ed/diploma in education/special education with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
The candidate must have also qualified CTET exam 1 which is conducted by CBSE.

Age Limit criteria

Candidates applying for DSSSB PRT must be below 30 years of age as of 2019. For candidates belonging to different categories, there is age relaxation. Below is the age relaxation for different category candidates.

Exam Pattern

The candidates applying for the post of DSSSB PRT have to go through a written test for which there is a certain exam pattern. The exam pattern for the written test of 2022 is not yet announced. So here is the exam pattern of 2020: -

The exam is divided into 2 sections A and B. There are 200 questions in total carrying 200 marks. The exam is for 2 hours. There is also a negative marking for every wrong answer which is 0.25.
