GCET 2022 is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted for various professional degree programs by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. The admission will be offered based on marks obtained in the entrance exam. Candidates will be able to get admission to the state government/aided engineering colleges of Goa state. NEET Qualified candidates will get admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Science (Paramedical), and B.Sc. in nursing courses.
GCET 2022: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa released GCET Application Form on May 23, 2022, on its official website goacet.in. Candidates who have already passed/have appeared, or are appearing at HSSC (Std. 12th Science) or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for GCET 2022. The last date to fill out GCET 2022 Application Form is June 10, 2022.
GCET 2022 will be conducted on June 27 and June 28, 2022, for admissions to B.E. and B.Pharm courses. Meanwhile, admissions to the B.Arch course will be done on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam(Std. XIIth /HSSC/Diploma.)
As per the GCET 2022 Exam Pattern, the question paper will have MCQ-type questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. Questions asked in GCET will be based on the higher secondary and secondary levels. Candidates must study the topics covered in their Class XI and XII for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as the questions asked in the GCET 2022 exam will be based on these topics.
Application Form
GCET 2022 application forms have to be filled in online and offline mode. GCET 2022 Application Form consists of the following forms:
Candidates who have already passed/have appeared, or are appearing at HSSC (Std. 12th Science) or equivalent examination, before the start of the academic session, are eligible to appear for GCET 2022. Candidates seeking admissions only to Pharmacy Course need not appear in Mathematics.
Engineering Courses: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations from a recognized board.
He/she should have Physics, Mathematics, and English as a mandatory subject and any one of following the additional subject in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science. Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks aggregate for the general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
B.Arch: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Mathematics subject. They should have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate for the general group and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Candidates should also qualify for the NATA exam.
BHMS & AHS: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject.
They must have secured at least 50% marks aggregate for the general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
BSc Nursing: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subject. He/she should have scored at least 45% marks aggregate for the general group and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
B.Pharma: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and English as a compulsory subject. Apart from the above subject, candidates should have an additional subject in Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Science.

Admit Card
GCET 2022 Admit Card will be obtained from the admission committee. The admit card will be issued only to candidates in person. Candidates must produce ‘Photo Admit Cards’ for appearing in the test at the designated center.
Answer Key
GCET 2022 Answer Key will be released after the declaration of the result. Candidates can check the answer key on the official website.
Result
GCET 2022 Result is available on the website of DTE Goa and on the Notice Board at DTE. No individual scorecard will be issued. Any change in schedule is notified in designated newspapers.
Counselling
GCET counselling 2022 schedule for admission rounds will be released online. Candidates will have to register in order to participate in the GCET 2022 counselling process. The last date to submit the counselling form A will be notified later. The seat allotment is done according to candidates’ merit, specified choices and availability of seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats during any round of counselling will have to report to the institution allotted within three working days and obtain acknowledgement, otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
