IDBI executive is an all-India exam conducted by IDBI Bank to recruit candidates for executive positions in its various branches. The Full form of IDBI is Industrial Development Bank of India.
Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has released the IDBI Recruitment 2022 Notification announcing 1044 posts of executives and 500 posts of Assistant Managers at its official website https://www.idbibank.in/.
Applying instructions are as follows-
Step 1: The candidates have to open the official website of IDBI Bank i.e. www.idbibank.in.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Personal’ tab at the top of the page.
Step 3: A new page will open, scroll down to the bottom and click on the ‘Careers’ link and then click on ‘Current Openings’.
Step 4: Download the instruction on ‘Recruitment of 300 Executives in IDBI – 2022’ and read it thoroughly.
Step 5: Click on ‘Apply Online-Executive Application’ to begin the registration process.
Step 6: Submit all the required details, and upload necessary documents, and photographs in proper formats.
Step 7: Next, pay the exact amount of application fees and get the e-receipt.
Step 8: Check all the provided details before clicking on “Submit”
Step 9: After successful registration, you will receive the Registration ID and Password for the further process.
Step 10: Download and take a printout of the final application for future reference.
The exam consists of 3 sections-Test of Reasoning, Test of Working English Language, Test of Quantitative Aptitude. The syllabus for each of the section for the IDBI Executive exam is as follows:
Verbal Reasoning: Classification, Operations of Mathematics, Venn Diagrams, Word Sequence, Missing Characters, Sequential Output training, Directions, Test on Alphabets, Eligibility Test, Data Sufficiency, Alpha-Numeric Sequence Puzzle, Puzzle Test, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Analogy, Series Completion, Verification of truth of the Statement, Situation Reaction Test, Direction Sense Test, Assertion and Reasoning, Arithmetical Reasoning
Non-Verbal Reasoning: Construction of Squares and Triangles, Series, Completion Incomplete Pattern, Spotting embedded figures, Classification, Rules Detection, Analytical Reasoning, Paper Folding, Paper Cutting, Cubes and Dice, Water Images, Mirror Images, Dot Situation, Identical figure groupings, Forming figures and analysis, Figure Matrix
Test of English Language: Fill in the blanks, Synonyms & Antonyms, Vocabulary, Idioms and phrases, One-word substitutions, Comprehension passage, Shuffling of sentence parts, etc.
Test of Quantitative Aptitude: Number System, Decimal & Fractions, Percentages, Ratio and Proportions, Average, Problems on Ages, Time and Work, Mixtures & Allegations, Time and Distance, Profit and Loss, Simplification, Simple & Compound Interest, HCF & LCM, Data Interpretation, etc.
The second stage of the exam pattern is the Personal Interview followed by the document verification and the medical test. After the online test, those candidates that qualify will be called for the next stage of document verification, followed by the ‘pre-recruitment medical test’ after which the final appointments will be made.
The candidate who is willing to apply for the post should possess a minimum educational qualification in order to be eligible for the post. The candidate needs to be a graduate from a recognized University or an Institution to be eligible for the job of IDBI Executive. The minimum marks required are 55% for GEN and 50% for SC/ST/PWD.
IDBI Bank has specified the age limit for the candidates willing to apply. The minimum age is 20 years while the maximum is 25 years. If a candidate is younger than the minimum age or exceeds the maximum age limit, he/she will be not permitted to take the examination. The candidate's age as of July 01, 2022, will be taken into account.
However, the reserved category candidates get certain age relaxation.
