There are three stages for the recruitment of The Indian Bank Security Guard –

Objective type Test – Online.
Test of the local language.
Physical fitness Test
Preference will be given to candidates having a valid commercial driving license of Light Motor Vehicle.

Latest Notification

On February 23, 2022, the Indian bank released a notification regarding the recruitment drive for the post of Security Guard in the Subordinate Staff Cadre. The official notification can be accessed on the official website of the Indian Bank.

Registration

Follow the steps given below before filling out the application form:-

Step 1: Visit the official website indianbank.in and click on the Career option highlighted at the bottom of the homepage.

Step 2: Under the Current Opening, Section Click on the “Recruitment of Security Guards” article and click on the “Click here to apply online ”

Step 3: A new page will appear, Register yourself with a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.

Step 4: Fill in the required details properly and complete the Application Form and attach the Scanned photograph, signature, and thumbprint.

Step 5: Submit the application form and pay the application fee and take a printout of it for future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee for Indian Bank Security Guard Recruitment is waived off. That is, the candidates need not pay any application fee.

Exam Pattern

The total number of questions asked are 60 and the maximum marks that can be obtained is 40. The time duration given is 90 minutes. The test is supposed to be given online by the candidates. There is a negative marking scheme in the Objective test. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. In case the question is not answered, zero marks will be awarded.

Indian Bank Security Guard Language Proficiency Test

The Language Proficiency Test will be taken to test the candidate’s fluency in the local language. This test will be taken after the candidate qualifies the online objective test. This local language test consists of a set of 10 questions, each carrying one mark. So the total marks is 10. For the unreserved category to qualify this test 40% marks is mandatory and for the reserved category, it is 35%.

Indian Bank Security Guard Physical Fitness Test

The Physical fitness Test will consist of the following:-

Another 10 marks have been allotted to candidates who have a commercial driving license in Light motor vehicle. So, the preference is given to candidates who have a driving license in Light Motor Vehicle.
