About
India Post Payments Bank, abbreviated as IPPB, is a division of India Post that is under the ownership of the Department of Post, a department under the Ministry of Communications of the Government of India. IPPB conducts a recruitment process to fill in the vacancies for the various posts such as Officers in Scale II, III, IV, and V, Assistant Manager (Area Operations), Manager (Area Sales), and a few others based on the requirements and vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria
IPPB Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidates who are bearing citizenship of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibetan refugees can also apply for the examination.
- A refugee who came over to India before January 1962 January is eligible to appear in the examination.
IPPB Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
The minimum age to apply for IPPB Recruitment 2022 is 20 years while the maximum age is 40 years. The age limit for various posts under the IPPB Recruitment 2022 is:

The educational qualifications for various IPPB posts are as follows:

| Scale I Officers | A graduate degree from a recognized university along with work experience in postal services or sales of financial products/ rural banking or experience as a Business Correspondent for banks are eligible. |
| Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director | The candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Candidates having an MBA degree or CAIIB certificate (Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers ) are preferred. |
| Scale II-III Officers | The candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Candidates having an MBA or B.Tech. degree is preferred. |
| Scale IV-VI Officers | Candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university with minimum work experience. |
| Scale VII Officers | The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university and have an MBA degree or C. A is preferred along with minimum work experience. |
| Manager (Area Sales) | The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university and have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as Inspector Post in DoP. |
| Assistant Manager (Area Operations) | The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Postal Assistant in DoP. |

Exam Pattern
The candidates must be thoroughly clear with the IPPB Exam Pattern in order to score better and crack the exam. The IPPB Recruitment process involves three stages:
- IPPB Prelims Exam
- IPPB Mains Exam
- Interview
Both the written papers are objective type, i.e, in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format. Each question will carry 1 mark and 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
