About
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is India's primary border patrol organization for its border with Tibet Region. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India, established on October 24, 1962, under the CRPF Act, in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962.
In September 1996, the Parliament of India enacted the "Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992" to "provide for the constitution and regulation" of the ITBP for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith. The first head of the ITBP, designated Inspector General, was Balbir Singh, a police officer previously belonging to the Intelligence Bureau.
Latest Notification
Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has released the online application link for the recruitment of Head Constables (HC) and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) on its website i.e. recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. A total of 286 vacancies are available under the Direct Entry and Limited Departmental Competitive Exam (LDCE). Out of the total, 158 vacancies are for Head Constable (HC) (Combatant Ministerial) Male and Female, 90 for HC LDCE, 21 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) (Stenographer), and 17 ASI Steno LDCE Posts. The last date to apply is Juny 07, 2022.

Candidates can easily apply for the Assistant Commandant post in ITBP recruitment 2022 through the official website. The steps that will be helpful to apply for the position include

Syllabus

Eligibility Criteria
ITBP recruitment exam is conducted on an annual basis. It is necessary for the candidates to fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
ITBP Recruitment Age Limits
To be eligible for the ITBP exam the candidate has a minimum age of 20 and the maximum age of being 25 years.

ITBP Recruitment: Nationality
To apply for the ITBP recruitment exam one should be an Indian citizen. Candidates from Nepal and Bhutan are also eligible for applying.
ITBP Recruitment: Educational Qualifications
To apply for the ITBP exam the candidate should be in possession of a bachelor's degree from any stream. The degree must be issued from a Central Government or State government-affiliated University. Degrees from any deemed to be a university will also be accepted.
ITBP Recruitment: Physical Standards
To appear in the examination there is also a necessity for meeting eligibility criteria based on physical standards. The physical standards that a candidate needs to meet for applying for the ITBP Assistant Commandant post are given below:
