Step 2- Click on the option for patwari recruitment
Step 3- Begin by registering with all the necessary information like name, email id, etc.

At first, candidates have to appear for an Urdu language exam. The board tests the candidate's knowledge of the language through this test. Only after qualifying for this JKSSB Patwari exam, candidates can appear for the written test.
This exam consists of two tests i.e. Reading and a Writing Test. Candidates belonging to the Open Merit category have to score at least 40% marks, overall in this exam with at least 33% marks in both the sections in order to qualify for the exam. Candidates who clear the cutoff marks are called for the next stage of the selection process.
This section is of 20 marks and requires a candidate to answer questions out of a given passage, each carrying one mark. In this section, candidates have to read out the passage in the given language.
The written section is 30 marks and candidates have to appear for the following topics in this section.

The second phase of the selection process is a written exam that consists of an objective test. Here, the candidates are asked to mark the option they feel is correct.
There are a total of five subjects asked in the exam. These include; Mental Ability and Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Current affairs, English Language, and General Knowledge. As per the marking scheme released by the board, one mark is given for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
