KMAT exam 2022 will be conducted to admit candidates to more than 189 institutes offering MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka. KMAT was first conducted in the year 2003. After the conduct of the KMAT exam, candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff will be called for the selection procedure. Each participating institute will release an individual cutoff and a list of selected candidates.
After the KMAT selection procedure 2022, a final merit list will be prepared. This merit list has the name of the students who have matched the cutoff and are selected for the further selection process which includes the GD/PI round. Candidates will have to visit the counselling centre as per the schedule where the GD/PI rounds will be held.
On the basis of the KMAT 2022 score and GD/PI scores, a final merit list will be released of the selected candidates and they will be called for document verification and then the qualified candidates will be offered final admission which will contain the names of shortlisted candidates.
As per the KMAT 2022 eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
KMAT 2022 is expected to be conducted by KPGPCA in the last week of November 2022. KMAT 2022 Registration will likely begin in the 1st week of July on the official website- kmatindia.com. Candidates with a minimum of 50% in their graduation can apply for KMAT 2022 exam.
KMAT 2022 Registration is expected to begin in the first week of July 2022, on the official portal of KMAT i.e. kmatindia.com. The registration window will be open for 2-3 months till the 3rd week of November 2022. The steps for KMAT Registration are given below:
Step 1: Register on the official website to generate KMAT Application number and password.
Step 2: Fill KMAT Application form for all details like personal information, academic qualifications, test city preference, and work experience.
Step 3: Upload all relevant documents like scanned images of passport-size photographs, signature, and category certificate, if applicable
Step 4: Pay KMAT Application Fee of INR 800. The fee can be paid online through Netbanking/Credit Card/Debit Card The application fee is the same for all categories and is non-refundable. For offline payment, a demand draft of INR 1000 must be drawn by candidates before starting with KMAT Registration.

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
English language ability has questions on Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages, etc.
Questions to check language skills, understanding the contents of the passages, and appropriate words, phrases, expressions.
This shall include the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning
This section measures how quickly and accurately can one think.
The section may have questions in sets as well as individual ones based on Verbal Reasoning, analogy among others.
Quantitative Ability
This section is of matriculation standard.
It includes questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed, etc. The questions will also be based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and parts of mathematics.
This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.
Age: The minimum age required for admissions to the postgraduate program through KMAT 2022 is 21 years. There is no specific upper age limit to apply for the course.
Academic Qualification: The academic qualification varies for different programs. Candidates should satisfy KMAT 2022 eligibility according to the course they are applying for per the UGC guidelines.

Candidates scoring marks equal to or greater than the cut off will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
