The National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) is for all students. It consists of a single-level examination. Cultivating the little scientist inside students, this test will help them identify and develop their computer skills. As part of the test, students will also be able to evaluate themselves on four levels: school, city, zone, and worldwide. The National Cyber Olympiad (SOF) is organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation. This talent-finding contest is quite popular among pupils.
Science Olympiad Foundation has released the NCO 2022- 2023 exam dates at results.sofworld.org. The exam is open to the students of classes one to ten.
Students can either fill out the NCO registration form through their schools or fill out the registration form on the official SOF website as individual participants. A minimum of 10 students from each school must participate in the National Cyber Olympiad test for them to register.
Steps to Self-Register For Olympiad Exam
Students can apply for Olympiad tests online if their school is unable to participate:
1. Visit the official page for Olympiad exam registration: ors.sofworld.org/studentregistration.
2. Fill in the basic details such as School Name, School Address, Student Name, Class, Gender, Section, etc. Please double-check that all information, such as the roll number, test links, and recommendations, is right.
3. Select the Olympiad exam you wish to participate in.
4. Then choose in which mode you want your books to be delivered (Online/Offline).
5. Enter the correct captcha and click on the button that says “Submit”. Then proceed to the payment page.
After successful payment of the fees and book charges (if any), you will complete the registration process.
Registration Through School: The Olympiad exam registration can also be done by filling out an offline form given by the school. To be eligible to take the test, students must fill out the Olympiad Registration Form. Steps to apply for the Olympiad exam through school are:
1. In order to be eligible to conduct Olympiad exams on its premises, a school needs to register itself with the SOF first. After successful registration, the school will receive a prospectus with the registration forms in them. Students can collect the registration forms from school authorities.
2. Schools that are not registered with SOF should contact the officials at Olympiad foundation to get registered first and then get a prospectus. They can contact SOF through their phone number: 0124-4951200 or email at [email protected].
3. Interested students must then fill the registration forms with all the relevant details. Submit the duly filled forms to the respective schools.
4. The schools must then return the duly filled registration forms to SOF before the Olympiad exam registration last date of 2022.
The basic criteria for students to give the National Cyber Olympiad exams are, that they must be studying in any recognized education board (i.e., CBSE, ICSE, etc.) in India. Students from 1 to 12 can participate in this exam, and there is no minimum marks bracket to be eligible for this exam. Many exams under SOF have 2 level examinations, but National Cyber Olympiad has only one level of examination, i.e., a single-level exam.
