OPSC PGT Registration Process

The candidates have to follow the following steps in order to register for the OPSC PGT exam:

Go to the official website of OPSC: www.opsc.gov.in
Then the candidates have to go to the homepage and look for the ‘OPSC PGT Recruitment Notice’.
Click on the link for online application form.
Now the candidates will have to enter details such as name, address, date of birth, etc.
Then they will have to upload recent photographs and the required educational documents.
The next step is the payment of the application fees.
Click on ‘Submit’ after all the steps have been completed.
Download and take a printout of the form for future use.

OPSC PGT Syllabus: Pedagogy

The OPSC syllabus for PGT exam for Pedagogy is:

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the PGT exam, the aspirants must check if they successfully the requirements such as the age limit, educational qualifications, nationality, experience, etc. The requirements are listed in the following table in detail:

Educational Qualification	Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the subject concerned with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Or Candidates must have a two years integrated M.Sc from Regional College of Education NCERT in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Must have a B.Ed or equivalent degree that is recognized by the National Council for Teacher’s Education, New Delhi. Desired Qualification: Diploma or degree in Computer Application.

Reservation

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General or OBC categories will have to pay a registration fee of INR 400 and those who belong to the SC?ST/PwD categories do not need to pay any fee for registration.

Exam Pattern

The written test will include General English, General Knowledge, and the subject involved for which the vacancies have been released.
The exam will be Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions and will be taken in one paper which will carry 150 marks and 150 questions. The duration of the exam is three hours.
The exam will have two parts: Part A which will be compulsory and Part B which will be taken on the subject concerned.
The mandatory Part A will have 50 questions with a total of 50 marks.

Part B which will contain the subject concerned will contain 100 questions and will carry a total of 100 marks which will include the syllabus directed for postgraduate degree in the concerned subject.The pattern of the OPSC PGT exam is given in the table below:
