PSTCL JE Eligibility: Nationality

The candidate must be of Indian origin, in order to be eligible for the post of PSTCL JE. The job location is Punjab, and the placement offer is scattered throughout the entire state. Candidates from other states may also apply for this post if only they possess a residence in the state of Punjab.

PSTCL JE Eligibility: Age Limits

PSTCL JE Eligibility: Number of Attempts

The Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) lays down no limit on the number of attempts regarding the examination. The candidate can appear as many times, as long as he/she fulfills the age requirements and educational qualifications. They can appear for the examination till they exhaust their maximum age limit.

PSTCL JE Eligibility: Experience

It is not mandatory for the candidates to have any prior work experience. But they must satisfy all the educational and age qualifications.

Application Fee

Applicants are expected to pay a certain amount of fees in order to be able to appear from the examination of PSTCL JE 2022. It is expected that the fee structure for 2022 will be the same as 2022.

Exam Pattern

The ASRB NET is a two-tier-based examination. Candidates will have to clear an online written test and a document verification process. Given below is the format for the written examination,

Candidates will gain 1 mark each for every right answer, whereas they will lose 0.25 marks for every question answered incorrectly.
The exam will be conducted in English language.
The candidates who successfully pass the written online test, will be automatically eligible and called up for the Document Verification process.
A merit list will be prepared based on marks the candidate has secured in the written online test.
A candidate is required to score a minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for the post of PSTCL JE. The minimum qualifying marks for General Category is 50% , while for Reserve Category it is 40%.
