The full form of RPF is Railway Protection Force. It is the security force that serves to provide complete protection to the railway passengers and railway properties. It is established by the Railway Protection Force act under the Ministry of Railways. Railway Protection Force (RPF) is also known as Railway Protection Security Force

The main aim of the organization is to ensure the safety and security of the passengers travelling on railways. Millions of people travel over the railways every day. So RPF plays a major role in protecting the passengers and makes sure there are no issues or problems faced by them. Besides, the officers also protect the railway properties from getting damaged.

Latest Notification

RPF Constable Notification is yet to be released. As of now, the application process starts in the first week of June 2022. And the admit card will be released in July 2022 (tentative). The RPF Constable exam date 2022 is yet to be notified.

Officially the conducting body hasn’t announced any notifications regarding the RPF Constable Exam 2022. So the interested candidates must follow the announcements through the official website.

Registration

The students willing to become RPF Constable can apply for the RPF Constable Exam online. The application process for the exam is online. Once the notification is released the candidates need to fill the application form. The procedure to be followed to fill and submit the form is as follows:

Open the link and register yourself with the necessary credentials.
Later on verify your email and mobile number.
Log in to fill the application form.
Fill in the personal and academic details correctly.
While filling in the details the candidates can also choose the exam centre and preferred language of the exam.
After filling in the details do the payment through online banking.
Submit the application form once you ensure all the details are correct.
Students will be further notified about the exam dates through email.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must be qualified with the required educational qualifications to apply for the exam. So whoever is interested must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Students must qualify in the following to appear for the exam.

Nationality: The candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age limit: The students must be of age 18 – 25 to apply for the exam.

Educational qualification: The candidates must have to be qualified in Matric in any stream from a recognized board.

Application Fee

To submit the application form the students must have to pay the application fees through online banking. The fees for different categories are as follows:

Exam Pattern

The RPF Constable exam consists of three phases. Students must qualify for the exam and must pass in the next two phases. The candidates who qualify in the online exam and pass the PET and PMT tests are finalized based on merit.

RPF Constable Phase I Pattern 2022

Phase I of the RPF Constable Exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The students can attend the exam through online mode. It consists of 120 questions with four sections. One mark is awarded for each correct answer and 1/3rd mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The questions are object type that is Multiple choice questions. Students must select the correct option. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.The pattern of the Phase I exam and the details are as follows:
