The State Bank of India conducts the SBI SO Exam for recruiting officers in different specialized categories. It invites applications for specialist officer (SO) recruitment as per vacancies in various departments.

Registration

The candidates have to fill out their application forms on the official website of SBI. The SBI SO Application Process is completely online. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for SBI SO 2022. The steps to apply for SBI SO Exam 2022 are as follows:

Visit the official website of SBI.
Click on the ‘Careers’ tab on the homepage. Choose ‘Join SBI’ from the drop-down menu.
Search and click on the link to apply for SBI SO 2022.
Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’.
Enter basic details such as name, contact, and date of birth.
On successful registration, a registration ID and password will be generated.
Log in and fill in all the compulsory details such as name, guardian’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.
Upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Pay the application fees using the prescribed payment method.

SBI SO Eligibility: Educational Qualification

The Educational Qualification varies as per the requirements of the different SBI Specialist Officer posts. The details about the same are as follows:

Assistant Manager	Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 60 percent or above marks. 2 years of work experience for a Bachelor's degree holder and 1 year for a Master's degree holder.
Deputy Manager, Relationship Manager (OMP), and Product Manager	B.E./ B. Tech along with MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree (as a full-time course) with specialization in Marketing
Circle Defence Banking Advisor	Must be a retired Major General or Brigadier from Indian Army or from comparable ranks from the Indian Navy or Air Force.
Manager (Marketing)	MBA/PGDBM or equivalent with specializations in Marketing/Finance. The minimum work experience is five years as an executive in supervisory/management role in the field of marketing digital and other financial products in a scheduled commercial bank or public sector or listed financial institution/company.
Deputy Manager (Marketing)	MBA/PGDBM or equivalent with specializations in Marketing/Finance. The minimum work experience is two years as an executive in supervisory/management role in the field of marketing digital and other financial products in a scheduled commercial bank or public sector or listed financial institution/company.

Exam Pattern

There will be two papers in the SBI SO Online exam.
Paper 1 will be conducted for 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to answer 120 questions from three sections namely, English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Paper 2 will have questions related to professional knowledge.
The medium of the SBI SO exam is English.
