Latest Notification
The official notification of the SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2022 is expected to be released in July this year. Sashastra Seema Bal will invite the online application for both unmarried male and female candidates for the post of Head Constable. SSB will publish the notification soon for the ‘Group C’ Non- Gazetted post (Ministerial) for a total of 1522 vacancies to be filled in. Candidates can also check SSB Constable Examination here.
Registration
The candidates who wish to apply for the application form are advised to follow the procedure given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSB.
Step 2: Go to the 'Current Openings' tab displayed on the dashboard
Step 3: Click on the ‘SSB Head Constable recruitment 2022’ tab
Step 4: On the dashboard click on the tab displayed as Apply online
Step 5: Candidates have to read the instructions carefully and then click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 6: Fill in all the credentials carefully like the Candidate Name, Father's Name, Date of birth, educational qualification, etc. in the registration form.
Step 7: The confirmation mail will be sent to the registered mail for successful registration.
Step 8: After the registration procedure, log in with the registration number and password.
Step 9: Candidates need to upload all the documents in the required size and format and cross-check all the details in the application form.
Step 10: Candidates can pay the application both online and offline through challan
Step 11: After the successful payment, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are going to fill out the form of the SSB Head Constable must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below. If the candidates are unable to fulfill the eligibility criteria asked for the examination their application forms will be rejected and they will not be able to sit in the examination.
SSB Head Constable Age Limit 2022
The minimum age limit of the candidates for the SSB Head Constable recruitment 2022 will be 18 years and the maximum age limit for candidates will be 27 years for both male and female candidates. The official notification regarding the recruitment has not been announced yet, therefore, conditions of age relaxation given to the candidates are not known.
The age limit according to the post is discussed below in a tabulated form, candidates are advised to refer to the table for the complete information:

To fill out the application form for SSB Head constable candidates have to pass the Intermediate from a recognized board or university in India. The details are given below:

To apply for the SSB Head Constable recruitment 2022, the candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned nationality conditions:
- The Candidate must be a citizen of India
- He or She can be a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan
- Candidates can be Tibetan refugees
- Candidates can be migrants from Sri Lanka, Burma, Ethiopia, United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Pakistan, and Zaira but must live in the country permanently.
Application Fee
The expected application fee of the SSB Head Constable recruitment is different for different categories. The categories wise application form fee of the candidate is given below:

Exam Pattern
The written examination of SSB Head Constable recruitment will consist of only one paper to be conducted online based or Computer Based Test:
- The exam will be of 100 marks
- There will be multiple-choice questions
- The paper is divided into four sections General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Hindi or English.
- The duration of the exam will be two hours ( 120 minutes)

SSB Head Constable Physical Efficiency Test 2022
After the written examination merit list is prepared for the candidates shortlisted for the physical efficiency test. The physical efficiency test for both male and female candidates is written here in the tabulated form:

SSB Head Constable Skill Test 2022
After the physical efficiency test, candidates have to appear for the Skill test or typing test.
The criteria for the typing test are given below:
