The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC Stenographer exam to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of Stenographer in the various departments of the Central Government. Through the SSC Stenographer exam, the selected candidate is placed in the Group C and Group D Non-Gazetted posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.
SSC will release the official notification of the SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2022 on its official website. The number of vacancies will also be released soon after the official notification.

For the candidates applying for Grade C, the age should be between 18 to 30 years.
For Grade D, the age of the candidate must be between 18 to 27 years. The date of birth will be considered as per the High-school or equivalent documents.
The candidates from reserved categories are offered age relaxation in the upper age limit as tabulated below:
