The full form of TPSC is Tripura Public Service Commission. Tripura PSC Administrative Services Exam is popularly known as TPSC TCS Grade - II & TPS Grade - II is conducted by Tripura Public Service Commission for recruitment of Civil Services Officers in the state of Tripura.

The exam is conducted annually and has three stages such as Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test (Interview). The overall level of the exam is such that a graduate from an Indian University can answer the questions very well.

Latest Notification

The Tripura PSC usually releases the notification for TPSC Administrative Services TCS & TPS Exam in February or March. So, the Tripura PSC Administrative Services 2022 Notification will be released in February or March 2022.

Registration

Tripura PSC Administrative Services Application Form 2022 will be made available for the candidates after the publication of the TPSC Administrative Services Notification. The online application form usually remains open for a duration of 1 month. Candidates should keep their mobile number, email address, photograph and signature before applying online for the TPSC 2022 exam.

Step 6: Now find the link related to Tripura PSC 2022 Exam and click on 'Click here to apply.
Step 7: Then check and confirm all your details.
Step 8: Make post and centre preference and click on 'Submit.
Step 9: Then pay the application form fees to complete the application process.

TPSC Main Syllabus 2022

There are 5 Compulsory Papers in Tripura PSC Administrative Services Main Exam, each paper carries a weightage of 100 marks. The duration of each paper is 3 hours except for General Knowledge and Current Affairs Paper in which the time allowed is 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates should meet the prescribed eligibility criteria to apply for the Tripura PSC Administrative Services 2022 Exam. Candidates must check their eligibility before applying online for the TPSC Administrative Services 2022 Exam.

TPSC TPSC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should not be below 21 years of age and above 41 years of age on 1.03.2022 to be eligible to apply for Tripura PSC Administrative Services 2022 Exam. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the category of SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Government Employees.

TPSC Administrative Services: Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for Tripura PSC Administrative Services 2022 Exam. In addition, knowledge of Bengali / English / Kokborok languages is desirable.

Application Fee

To complete the process of the Tripura PSC Administrative Services Exam Form, 2022 candidates have to submit the TPSC Application Fees. The fees for TPSC Administrative Services Application is non-refundable. The application fees for different categories is given below :

Exam Pattern

TPSC Administrative Services Exam consists of three stages - Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test. The questions asked in the Preliminary and Main Exams are of the graduation level.

The Preliminary Exam is conducted for the purpose of screening candidates and the marks scored by the candidates in this stage are not considered in the final merit.

The number of candidates who pass the TPCS Preliminary Exam and appear in the TPSC Main Exam is approximately 10 times the total number of vacancies. After clearing the Main Exam candidates are called for a Personality Test.

TPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

In Tripura PSC Administrative Services Preliminary Exam there is only one paper in which 200 objective type questions are asked that have a weightage of 1 mark each. The time limit to complete the exam is 2.5 hours.

The questions asked are of graduation level and do not need subject expertise. This stage is conducted only to screen the candidates and the marks obtained by the candidates are not considered in the final merit list.

TPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2022

After the TPSC Preliminary Exam candidates are called for the Main Exam which has a weightage of 800 marks.
There are 5 Compulsory and 3 Optional Papers in this stage,
Each paper has a weightage of 100 marks and the duration of each paper is 3 hours
However, the compulsory paper of General Knowledge and Current Affairs is of 2 hours.
Candidates have to select 3 optional papers from a list of 50 optional papers while filling the application form, once the selection is made for the optional papers the selection can't be changed.
The questions asked in the Tripura PSC Main Exam may be objective type or short answer type or essay type questions.
The level of Compulsory papers in the TPSC Main Exam is such that a person who graduated from an Indian University can answer very well and the level of Optional papers is like that of an Exam of Honours Degree in an Indian University.
All the papers of the TPSC Main Exam are conducted on different days and shifts.
