Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board recruits the candidates for Fireman posts at the respective departments of Uttar Pradesh. The Firemen that get hired through UPPRPB are responsible for assisting the police in controlling and extinguishing the fires. They help the police in accidents and crime scenes.
A three-level recruitment process is conducted through which the candidates are hired for the UP Police Fireman post. The levels include a Physical Measurement Test, a Physical Screening Test, and a Written Test. Candidates need to qualify for all three levels of document verification and medical test.
UP Police Fireman Recruitment 2022 will be released by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB). In the previous year, 2065 vacancies for the prestigious post of UP Police Fireman were announced. The total number of vacancies for the post of UP Police Fireman is expected to be 172. The recruitment body will release the official notification inviting candidates for the UP Police Fireman 2022 in the due course of time.
The UP Police Fireman is one of the most challenging exams as it encompasses 5 stages for getting the position & getting selected as a Fireman. The exam will be conducted in online mode. There will be 150 questions for 300 marks in the UP Police Fireman recruitment exam.
It is advisable for all the candidates to apply for the exam only after checking the eligibility criteria. The Male candidates should complete the running for 4.8 km in less than 27 minutes & the female candidates should complete the running for 2.4 km in less than 16 minutes.
