About
Uttar Pradesh Combined Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is conducted for admission into various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in Agricultural Technology for students domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is held on a rotational basis by four different universities that fall under Uttar Pradesh Krishi Avam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya. This year, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, is expected to organize UPCATET 2022.
Latest Notification
UPCATET 2022 Admit Card has been released on June 1, 2022, on the official website upcatetexam.org. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in using their application number and date of birth. UPCATET 2022 is to be conducted on June 16 and June 17, 2022.The exam is conducted in pen and paper-based.
As per UPCATET 2022 Exam Pattern, the question paper consists of 200 questions to be solved within 3 hours. UPCATET 2022 is for 600 marks in total. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 3 marks, and for every incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted. The exam would be conducted in English and Hindi Language. Only the candidates clearing the respective cutoffs for their category (20% in General & 10% in SC/ST) would be eligible for UPCATET 2022 Counselling.

- UPCATET Application Form 2022 is available on the official website from March 1, 2022, to May 10, 2022.
- Students should fill all the details on the application form carefully and the entire application process will be carried out in online mode only.
- Candidates have to upload the scanned image of recent photograph (online mode).
- Candidates should take a print copy of the completely filled-in application form for future use.
- There is no option for sending of the off-line/hard copy of application form.
Syllabus

Undergraduate Program: Syllabus prescribed by UP Board for Intermediate Examination in the concerned subject

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- For courses BVS and C & AH minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31, 2022; and 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates.
- For the other courses, minimum age limit of the candidates is 16 years and maximum 22 years; and the relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST OBC candidates.
Counselling
UPCATET 2022 counselling procedure will commence in the month of August 2022. No call letter will be sent to applicants individually. Admission will be done on the basis of merit list i.e. the marks acquired in UPCATET 2022.
- After UPCATET results are declared, all qualifying candidates are allotted seats in their respective course and university through counselling.
- Seats are allotted on the basis of merit-cum-reservation-cum-choice available at the time of counselling.
- For UPCATET 2022 counselling, candidates can download their counselling letters from the official website of the exam after the results are declared.
- UPCATET counselling letter would contain details such as date, time, and place of the counselling session.
- All candidates need to appear for the counselling as per the schedule mentioned in the letter.
- Documents that candidates need to bring at the time of UPCATET 2022 counselling are as mentioned below. It may be noted that candidates need to carry five sets of all the documents.
