Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electrical exam is the full form of UPPCL JE, is one of the most sought exams among engineering students. The exam is conducted every year by UPPCL, a government-owned corporation based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The full form of UPPCL is Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. Registration
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) releases the application form of UPPCL JE in online mode on the official website. The application form for UPPCL JE needs to be filled and submitted online only. No other form of submission will be permitted under any circumstances.

Step 1: New User Registration
- Visit the official website of UPPCL for the registration process.
- Click on the Vacancy/Results tab/link on the homepage.
- Click the "View" button given against "Apply online for the role of ‘Junior Engineer (Trainee)’.
- The candidate will be redirected to a new page.
- Click on the link "New user registration for JE Recruitment 2022".
- Fill in the required details such as the applicant's name, parental details, an active mobile number, an alternate mobile number, and a valid email address.
- Click the ‘Submit' button.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form & Upload Documents
- On successful registration, An Application Number User ID and Password will be sent to the registered Mobile Number and Email ID.
- Log in and fill in the remaining essential details, such as Personal Details, Qualification and Reservation Details (If Any).
- Upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Click the ‘Submit’ button.
- Pay the application fees online/offline.
Syllabus
The syllabus of the UPPCL JE exam for the Civil and Electrical branches consist of four sections:
- Diploma-level Engineering subject

- General Knowledge/Awareness
- General Hindi
For the Diploma-level engineering subject, the syllabus of this section will be different for both the branches, i.e, the syllabus for the Electrical and Civil branches will vary for this section. However, the syllabus of all three rest sections will be the same for both branches.

UPPCL JE Educational Qualifications for Electrical Posts
- Candidates must have completed a three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering from Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or an equivalent degree/certificate recognized by the Uttar Pradesh government.
- Candidates who have passed the All India Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) are also eligible for UPPCL JE - Electrical Post.
- It should be noted that applications for UPPCL JE will not be considered if the applicant holds a Distance Learning Diploma degree or certificate.
UPPCL JE Educational Qualifications for Civil Posts
- The candidate must have completed a three-year diploma in Civil Engineering from the UPPSP (Uttar Pradesh Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad) or any other equivalent degree/certificate recognized by the Uttar Pradesh government.
- The students who have passed the All India Diploma exam in the Civil branch conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) are also eligible to apply.
- The applications for UPPCL JE will not be considered if the applicant holds a Distance Learning Diploma degree or certificate.
UPPCL JE Age Limit and Relaxation
For the UPPCL JE exam, the age criteria for both the Civil and Electrical exam is the same.
- The candidates should be between 18 to 40 years of age as of January 01, 2022.
- Candidates from the reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with UP government regulations.
