These students, thus selected are able to work with these companies on part-time basis and earn experience as well as money to meet their expenses partially and to gain practical experience.

CGC Financial Aid – Help & Hope at your doorstep of worth INR 2 crore
The Management of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri (CGC) has come out with a novel scheme of helping the needy and meritorious students to pursue various courses offered in the college. Scholarships worth INR 2 crores will be given to the wards of COVID-19 warriors, meritorious students, wards of defense personnel, outstanding sports persons, family members of CGC staff and many other categories. The scholarships will be given at the time of taking admissions in various courses being offered in CGC Jhanjeri for the session 2020-21. These courses include B.Tech (Mech., Civil, CSE, ECE), MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com. (Hons), M.Com., B.Sc. (Fashion Designing), B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Hons.) Nutrition & Dietetics.
COVID 19 Warriors Scholarship Scheme
Extending the heartiest congratulations to COVID-19 warriors who are endangering their lives to save others, CGC Jhanjeri has come out with a scholarship scheme for these brave warriors.
- 10% reserved for COVID-19 warriors
- 10% fee concession given to the categories for the duration of the entire course
Merit Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Session 2020-2021
The main objective of this policy is to encourage good and brilliant students to acquire higher education and be an active member of the society in general and their families in particular. This policy shall also give some relief to the parents and thereby motivate them to educate their wards in a reputed college. The scholarship scheme is as follows:
- A) Scholarship for B.Tech based on JEE (Mains)

Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Defence Personnel for the Academic Year 2020-2021
With a view to express solidarity and gratefulness to defense forces who are always there to protect borders and lives, CGC Jhanjeri has devised a special incentive scheme for defense personnel and their wards. This scheme is also a part of the social responsibility towards special sections of society.
Amount of Incentive: The following amount of incentive shall be provided on the fee payable at the time of admission only:
- Incentive equivalent to 15% of the Tuition fee for the war widows and wards of war casualties, war-injured and released defense personnel, spouse and their wards, war disabled defense personnel, getting superannuated, spouse and their wards.
- The incentive is equivalent to 10% of tuition fee for the wards of serving and retired defence personnel.
- The incentive is equivalent to 20% of tuition fee for the officers on study leave carrying out their studies in CGC, Jhanjeri.
CGC Sports Policy for the Academic Year 2020-2021
Outstanding sportspersons who have shown outstanding performance at the state and national level can get benefits for their hard work as and when they choose to pursue higher education from Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri. It is the institute's endeavor to assist sportsperson to help bring higher education within their reach. Scholarship for sportsperson are:
