EDII gets 4-Star rating by GSIRF
A total of 20 universities and 46 non-technical institutes participated in the rating exercise. EDII was awarded a CGPA of 3.66 out of 5 on the basis of comprehensive performance matrix as set out by the GSIRF.
During the first year, students are trained in the functional areas of Business, Marketing, Finance, Consulting, Economics, Organization Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Operations and Information Technology which orient them towards business culture. The course aims at moulding their work ethic and developing skills highly valued by the contemporary industry.
At the end of the first year, students are exposed to applied aspects of managing an enterprise through Summer Internship Placements. They are exposed to a real time business environment, and take up responsibilities and goals which aim at being mutually beneficial for both the students and the organization. It serves as a platform for applying the management theories learnt in the classroom and helps in providing clarity about business as a whole.
The Placement Cell facilitates interaction between students and the industry. Students are placed in different organizations preferably Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as per their electives / area of interest, for a period of 8-10 weeks after completion of the first year.
The Summer Internship Project will include any or a mix of the following:
Organizational Internship
Family Business
Business Opportunity Assessment and Industry Analysis
Approved external training program or seminar relevant to business area.

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India scholarships are offered in the form of fellowship, tuition fee waiver stipend and contingency grants. Students pursuing the can avail the EDII Gandhinagar scholarships. A certain percentage of the fee will be waived off for all the students pursuing the FPM programme. Fellowship support which includes tuition-fee waiver and stipend will be offered only to some selected students. As per the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India scholarship policy costs of basic teaching material, library, examination and use of computer laboratory shall be waived off. Apart from this some selected will be given a stipend of Rs. 25,000 in the first two years while the selected students will be given a stipend up to Rs. 30,000 in the preceding year depending upon his/her performance in academics. In addition to these financial aids, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India Gandhinagar supports the FPM students financially during their thesis phase and provides up to Rs. 30,000 t

The college provides accommodation facilities for the students. The hostel rooms are clean, air-conditioned and are well furnished. Students are allotted a double sharing room. For security reasons, CCTV cameras are also installed in the hostel.
