Guru Nanak University (GNU) is a Private University established under Telangana State Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) act 11 of 2018. The GNU campus is in very close proximity to the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road; GNU Campus can be easily reached through all-weather roads from Hyderabad city which is 26 kms from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. GNU has incubated out of the educational expectations and requirements of the industry and to stand up to the aspirations of the global education needs of 21st century through excellence in teaching, learning, research, internationalization, entrepreneurship and leadership. Sensing the need for contribution in spreading higher education of premier quality to cater to societal and industrial needs under the support of Policy Framework of Telangana State Government, GNES strengthened its academic endeavor by establishing Academic Coenobium – Guru Nanak University (GNU).
Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus acquired a feather in its cap by scoring A+ grade conferred by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body set up by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Even AICTE and other Government Organizations have made it mandatory for every student to undergo internship during his/her vacation period. We at GNU always strive to give its students the best and for getting the right practical exposure through trainings and internships we have tied up with Internshala, Triedge, TASK, Virtusa, Ziroh Labs and many industries for helping students get internships. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. Even the curriculum has been designed in such a way so as to help students be ahead in the race of bagging the right practical exposure.

Placement
Guru Nanak University has scrupulously planned to assure that all the eligible and interested students to be employed. The University has good infrastructure, dedicated and experienced faculty, designed and delivered programs that help enhancing the communication and soft skills which is the key step for employment. A splendid system is in place that focuses on students issues and takes care that student is employable. The Guru Nanak society has been successful for the last 22 years, in employing all the students who have registered and eligible for placement through its offices located across the country. About 50 trained personnel work extensively to make the students ready for recruitment by the Industry.
News
A one day trip is organized to Wonderla Amusement Park on 4th February , 2023 . Wonderla Amusement Park is located at Ravirala in Outer Ring Road , Hyderabad. It is one of the largest and safest parks spread over 50 acres offering 43 attractions.
150 students of first year and 10 faculty members of the university visited the place . Overall it was an excellent and memorable experience for the students of the university .
