B.Sc(N) and M.Sc(N) Students who seek admission either through Management Quota or Government Quota are entitled to receive scholarship. SC/ST/SCC Scholarship (Entire tuition fees) is given by the Government for SC/ST/SCC candidates. The application form duly attested by Principal is submitted to Department of Backward Classes/ Most Backward Classes Welfare Board/ Adidravidar Tribal Welfare Board, Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. All the details of the students are uploaded on the official portal , the documents are securitized by the respective department and sanctioned list of students is sent to the college.

The Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Anna University, since 2001. In 2011, it started working as an autonomous institute. The Institute is accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation), and has been rewarded as Academic Excellence Award two times in consecutive years by Uttar Pradesh Technical University. The college is governed by a registered society.
Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology offers courses in many streams as Bachelor Of Technology, Master Of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Business Administration, and Ph.D. The college offers B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) course of four years duration in the following streams- Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Master Of Business Administration (MBA) is a two year duration course offered in the streams of Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology.
The Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is fully residential, it houses five boys hostels as Subhash Bhawan, Raman Bhawan, Tagore Bhawan, Visvesvaraya Bhawan, and Ambedkar Bhawan, three girls hostels along with cottages for faculty members and staff. The college is providing many additional facilities to the students as an I.T.R.C.(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE CENTRE) for PhD. students. Along with facilities as a Central Library, a Banking facility(S.B.I.), Postal Facility, and Medical Facility.
