About
Mangalayatan University is a private university located in the city of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. The university was established in 2006 by the Mangalayatan University Education Society with the aim of providing quality education to students from all over India and the world. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of study including Engineering, Management, Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
The campus of Mangalayatan University is spread over an area of 70 acres and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as modern classrooms, well-stocked libraries, advanced laboratories, computer centers, sports facilities, and hostels. The university has a diverse student community with students from various states of India as well as international students from countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

Mangalayatan University also has a dedicated Industry Relations Cell that works towards building and maintaining relationships with industries and organizations. The cell helps in facilitating internships, placements, and research collaborations for the students and faculty members. The university's strong academia-industry connect program has helped in providing students with excellent placement opportunities and has also helped in the overall development of the university's academic programs.
Industry Projects
Our students have made us proud once again. A team of students, “Tenacious”, displayed their uncompromising effort and ability, competing against over 200 teams from India’s top institutions in the Indo-Asian Solar Challenge 2015. Mangalayatan University was UP’s No. 1 ranked team, placing 6th among all participants from across India. They will now be presenting their fully fabricated single-seater electric solar-powered vehicle in the finals to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Scholarships
MU offers various scholarships and fee concessions to meritorious students, some minority communities, wards of freedom fighters, armed and paramilitary forces, blood relations of employees of the university, sisters and brothers of the existing students and differently abled students to encourage and help students to pursue higher education in the university. The scholarships and fee concessions offered to the students by Mangalayatan University in the academic year 2022-23, are given below:

Merit-based Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to students based on their merit in the qualifying examinations. This scholarship is granted on Course Fee excluding other expenses and Examination fee. To avail the benefits of merit scholarship throughout the course, a student has to pass his/her examination (First year onward) without any carry over (Back Paper).

Training and placement Department of Mangalayatan University conducted workshop on Data Science and Cloud Computing. The workshop was focused on AWS Cloud Computing AND Data Science. The workshop aims to inform students about career in analytics and could computing. In this workshop, Data Scientist of APPWARS Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Noida, Jitendra Kumar shared valuable insights on career in data science in the context of higher studies and employment. In addition, he also said year 2023-2025 is the biggest career transition era where students should leverage opportunities in data science.
  • Mangalayatan University Served Kanwariyas by Setting Up a Camp
    Mangalayatan University Aligarh is doing a great work for the humanity and society. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, health camp was organized by the Mangalayatan family to serve the Kanwariyas carrying Ganga water. Volunteers and health workers served the Kanwaris selflessly with food and medicines. Administrative Officer Gopal Singh Rajput said that every year the camp is organized by the University to serve Kanwariyas. Serving the devotees of Shiva is an act of virtue. Vice Chancellor Prof. P.K Dashora, Registrar Brigadier Samarveer Singh, Joint Registrar Prof. Dinesh Sharma gave good wishes of Mahashivaratri. Among general masses of Aligarh, this Aligarh Exhibition is popular as a fair, they wait for it with passion and excitement and celebrate it with great zeal and joy.
