Pearl Academy

The terms and conditions outlined herein (“Terms and Conditions”), shall govern your (“User”) use of SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. By participating in the scholarship program, the User agrees as follows:-

• The Scholarship Program named “Who’s Next” will begin from February examination Cycle 2022 and will end in the month of August. “Who’s next” Scholarship Program participation is of no additional cost provided that the eligibility criteria is met by the Applicant.
• This is Merit Scholarships for India’s Top 100 Creative Minds. This scholarship offered by Pearl Academy is for studying at Pearl Academy only. We do not provide scholarships to enable students to study at other institutions.
• Scholarship will be given in the form of Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver on tuition fees only. The percentage of the Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver on Tuition fees shall be at the sole discretion of Pearl Academy.
• Applicants who have not qualified or attended Pearl Entrance exam, will be disqualified from the Who’s Next Scholarship program.
• It is the responsibility of the applicants to check their eligibility before submitting their entry. In case the applicant is found non-eligible at any stage, his/her submission will be disqualified.
• Applicants should meet the following criteria
  a. Should have qualified the Pearl Entrance exam.
  b. Should have completed class 12^th by July, 2022.
  c. Should be a resident of India.
• All applicants of Pearl Academy in all UG & PG programs of Academic Year 2022 are eligible for the “Who’s Next” Scholarship. Applicants are not required to apply for the Scholarship separately.
• Assessment criteria
  This is a merit-based scholarship. Applicants will be offered the Who’s Next Scholarship based on their performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam which includes Written Exam/ Personal Interview.
• Decision of the Examination office will be final in regard to the shortlisted candidates and cannot be challenged.
• Awarded scholarships can’t be exchanged for cash or transferred to any other course, campus or academic year etc.
• The Result shall be communicated to all offered applicants through email & the results will also be available on the Pearl Academy website.
• “Who’s Next” merit scholarship waives payment of tuition fee only for first year. However, Who’s Next merit scholarship will be only continued every subsequent year subject to the student/ awardee maintaining prescribed standards of achievement as stated below:-
  UG & PG Courses:
  • Awardee must have a minimum of 85% of attendance each semester; and
  • Awardee must obtain 70% marks overall without having any Referrals / Deferrals; and
  • Awardee must not intermit or defer at any point during the studies at Pearl College;
  • No disciplinary proceedings against the awardee; and
  • Student should be recommended by the Course Leader / HOD for said scholarship continuation; and
  • The Scholarship will be discontinued in case an awardee fails to maintain the prescribed academic standards of achievement in the subsequent year.”
• Pearl College reserves the right to withdraw or amend any listed scholarship without prior notification.
• If a scholarship-selected student chooses to decline the course offer, said students’ scholarship shall be void.
