Training & Internships
PSG College of Technology had an independent Placement Office facilitating campus recruitment for multinational and national organizations. It is headed by a Professor designated as Dean, Placement & Training and he is supported by Placement Officer and a full time pla ement coordinator. The office is also assited by student coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives of various programmes. The Placement office ensures and takes care to provide the best environment and hospitality for the visiting companies' officials.
The placement office, functions in a separate air conditioned block with state-of-the-art facilities for conducting Pre Placement Talk, Written Test, Group Discussion and Interviews and has steadly progressed over the years in enhancing the placement protential effectively. It plays a very important and key role in counselling and guiding the students of the college for their successful carrer.

ACADEMIA-INDUSTRY CONNECT
PSG College of Technology has always emphasized the importance of academia-industry connect and has taken several initiatives to foster collaborations with various industries. The college has established a dedicated Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) that acts as a bridge between the college and the industry.
The IIPC conducts various activities like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, and internships to provide hands-on experience to the students and to help them understand the practical aspects of the industry. The cell also facilitates research collaborations and consultancy projects with the industry, which provides valuable insights to the faculty and students and helps them in their research work.

Industry Projects
Industrial Associateship :-
Registered Manufacturing & Processing Industries, Organisations and Government Agencies are eligible to become Industrial Associates of PSG College of Technology.
The objectives of the Industrial Associateship scheme are to reorient the educational structure to suit the demand of the industry and also to disseminate the latest development in the institutions to the Industries.

Special Facilities offered for Industrial Associates include :-
- Use of books from the Library. Books can be borrowed paying library deposit of Rs. 2,000/- per book, upto a maximum of 4 books.
- Concession of 10% in Testing charges.
- Arrangement of special training programmes for specific requirements of associates, either in the premises of the industry or in the College.
- In addition to faculty consultancy work, industrial consultancy projects can be undertaken.
- Provision for prototype fabrication and testing facilities for product development.
Scholarships
- PSG Tech Alumni Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students who have excellent academic records and are in need of financial assistance. The scholarship covers the tuition fee and provides a monthly stipend.
- Dr. N. Mahalingam Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students who have scored high marks in their 12th standard exams and are from economically weaker sections of the society. The scholarship covers the tuition fee, hostel fee, and provides a monthly stipend.
- Late Sri. G.R. Govindarajulu Endowment Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students who have secured a rank within the first 3 positions in their respective departments. The scholarship covers the tuition fee and provides a cash prize.
- T.N. Ramachandran Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students who are in need of financial assistance and have scored high marks in their previous semester exams. The scholarship covers the tuition fee and provides a monthly stipend.
