About
Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) is a private university located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was established in 2007 by the JK Cement Group under the aegis of JK Organization, a leading industrial conglomerate in India. The university is named after the founder of JK Organization, Sir Padampat Singhania.
SPSU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various fields including Engineering, Management, Law, Commerce, Design, Basic Sciences, and Social Sciences. The university has a state-of-the-art campus spread over 42 acres with modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities. It also has collaborations with several international universities for student and faculty exchange programs.

The hostels have well-furnished rooms with attached washrooms and are available on single and sharing basis. Each room is provided with a bed, study table, chair, and wardrobe. The hostels have 24x7 security and CCTV surveillance to ensure the safety of the students. The campus has a Wi-Fi network that is accessible to all students.
The hostels also have a common room where students can relax and interact with each other. The common room is equipped with a TV, indoor games, and a reading corner. The university provides nutritious and hygienic meals in the hostel mess. The menu is prepared under the guidance of a nutritionist to ensure a balanced diet.

Placement
Sir Padampat Singhania University popularly known as SPSU is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2021 - 22 and around 100 recruiters participated. The highest CTC stood at INR 13.4 LPA whereas the average package stood at INR 4 LPA.During the placement drive of 2022, 38% students in the School of Engineering (SOE) and 45%students in the School of Management (SOM) have received more than one Job offer. Similarly, 40% of SOE students and 27% of SOM students have earned a package exceeding 4 LPA.
Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that works to provide placement opportunities to its students. The cell helps students prepare for placements by organizing training programs, workshops, and mock interviews. The cell also invites industry experts to the campus for guest lectures and pre-placement talks.

  • Panache 2023 - the Annual Techno-Management Cultural Extravaganza :-
    The riveting and vibrant the Annual Techno-Management Cultural Extravaganza of Sir Padampat Singhania University 'Panache 2023' was organised on Feb 9 th -10 th 2023. The University witnessed a plethora of events ranging from technical, cultural and managerial fields during the fest. The fiesta 'Panache 2023' was inaugurated by the Honourable President and Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.(Dr.)Padmakali Banerjee. Celebrating the culture of the University and the multicultural learning environment she invigorated the students to set goals, keep the spirits high, work with exuberance, achieve milestones and be the brand ambassadors of change.
  • Workshop on First Aid for Mining Engineering students at SPSU :-
    Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society organised a First Aid Workshop for Mining Engineering students from February 7–10, 2023. The Honourable Vice Chancellor & President Professor (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee in the inaugural address emphasised upon the significance of First Aid training in the Mining Sector and saving lives from casualty. She motivated the students to equip themselves with the skill set for entering the workforce. Being a mental health professional she also illustrated and gave tips to adopt the 7 minutes formula of deep breathing in a day for relaxation and promoting mindfulness.

    Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur inaugurated ‘KSHITIJ’ 2023 – The HR Conclave, on 3 rd February 2023 at the Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur. With the objective to strengthen industry- academia linkage and explore best business practices ‘KSHITIJ’ 2023 brought together business leaders, HR practitioners and academia across a wide range of industries to facilitate sharing of their experience and knowledge.
    Maharaj Kumar Saheb Lakshyaraj Singh Ji Mewar of Udaipur, the Chief Guest for ‘KSHITIJ’ 2023 graced the occasion with his presence. He commended the concept of sustainable culture and congratulated the organizers for the successful execution of the concept.
