Hostel For Male
Sushant University makes stay memorable by providing a holistic atmosphere. Staying at hostel encourage the students to become responsible and independent. It also gives an opportunity to work in a team and develop a sense of understanding of the society as students are from diversified areas and families. There are separate hostels for girls and boys on campus for about 300 residents on triple sharing basis which give them greater opportunities to interact and learn from each other. Students maintain a healthy environment which by working together for projects, assignments and extend a sagacity of togetherness.

Facilities :-

  • Each resident is provided with cupboard, computer table with rack, chair and bed with mattress.
  • House keeping (sweeping, mopping & cleaning) facilities are provided without any extra charge.
  • A common/dinning room with TV, newspapers and magazines is provided in each hostel. Hostel inmates can use Outdoors games facilities like Basket Ball, Footabll, Cricket, volleyball etc. on campus. A gym facility is also available on campus.
  • Geysers are provided in each washroom
  • Water coolers with RO water are available on alternate floors.
  • Students are provided good quality meals (Veg/Non-Veg) with no restriction on quantity, except for certain items.
  • Meal facility is also available to parents on subsidized rates.
  • 24 hours security is provided at both the hostels.
  • Internet facility is provided at no extra cost.
  • Free consultation by the doctor is provided twice a week.

Placement
The teaching pedagogy adopted is benchmarked against global standards and every faculty uses international pedagogy involving experiential learning. Seminars and presentations are given by students, which help them in developing their skills in effective expression and public speaking. Teaching and assessment in every school is done not only to award degrees but to validate the learning outcomes of the particular course.
Practical sessions are an integral part of any professional course. Students are asked to undertake practical classes, wherever required, so that they not only know the subject but are able to apply it in the laboratory.
Every student is required to submit his/her work, including dissertations, long essays or research projects, for evaluation and critical discussions regularly. The University actively involves the parents and guardians in the holistic development of the students and believes that parents are important stakeholders in the education process who are expected to pro-actively interact with the faculty mentors and coordinators to apprise themselves of their ward’s progress. Such efforts by the students give them the chance to develop their skills in original research by testing out theories and advancing their own ideas.
Scientific testing and measurement tools like conceptual tests, continuous assessment and critical evaluation are adopted. These tests focus on key concepts and learning goals for the class.

Freshers Party - ''Udbhav 2022

fresher’s event ‘Udbhav 2022’ to be held on September 16, 2022, 10.30 am onwards in our campus.
To celebrate the excitement that every student zestfully awaits, there are cultural performances by the First- & Second-year students- music, dance, stand-up and Fashion Show leading to the selection for the titles Mr. &Ms. Fresher.
To make the occasion more vibrant and joyous, there will be a live band performance!

International Conference on Advanced Technology, Sustainability and Management (IATSM 2022)

It gives us immense pleasure to share that the School of Engineering and Technology and School of Business, Sushant University are jointly organizing the second season of the International Conference on Advanced Technology, Sustainability and Management (IATSM 2022), on 28th and 29th July 2022. International conference aims at exploring the interface between the industry and the environment.

IATSM 2022: Post Events Glimpses

The "International Conference on Technology, Sustainability and Management" (IATSM 2022) organized jointly by School of Engineering & Technology and School of Business was conducted successfully on July 28 -29, 2022.The Presidential address was delivered by Hon’ble VC Sir Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Ranjan. Other esteemed guests were Pro-VC & Registrar Prof (Dr.) Sanjeev Sharma, Dean School of Engineering and Technology Dr. Sudipto Sarkar and Dean School of Business Professor J S Mukul. 35 research papers were accepted for the presentations. The conference addressed the rapid sustainable advancements currently witnessed in the fields of Technology, Businesses, Living style, Laws, Health issues and Public policy. The conference papers discussed Big Data, Innovation, Environmental Changes, Technical Advancement, Smart Cities, Power, Management and Corporate Governance etc. Conference Conveners were Dr. Arti Vaish and Dr. Richa N. Agarwal and Conference Secretaries were Dr. Isha Saini and Prof. Manoj Kumar Mishra.
