XLRI or Xavier School of Management is located in Jamshedpur. XLRI Jamshedpur is ranked #1 Private Management College in India by Outlook I-Care MBA Rankings 2021. Apart from its Jamshedpur campus, XLRI also has a campus in Delhi NCR Region, located 25 Kms from Gurugram. XLRI Jamshedpur offers PGDBM and PGDHRM programs on a total of 360 seats. XLRI School of Business also offers 15 month Executive PGDM program on 120 seats.
XLRI PGDBM and PGDHRM admissions are offered on the basis of XAT Score. Candidates can apply for XAT in the month of August and the Entrance Exam is conducted in the month of January. Candidates qualifying for the XAT Cutoff for XLRI will be further called for a Personal Interview and a final shortlist is published on the basis of the composite XAT Score, Personal Interview and Academic Profile of the candidate. The fee for PGDM/ MBA is INR 12.90 Lakhs per annum. The fee for the 15-month ExPGDM program is INR 21.0 Lakhs.
Further, XLRI Jamshedpur also offers an FPM/ PhD program in Management and Executive FPM program. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD program can apply via a valid score in XAT or UGC-JRFGRE/GATE Score. PGDM/ MBA degree holders from IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, XIMB, IRMA, SP Jain, School of Management of any IIT or ISI with a CGPI of at least 6.0/8.00 can apply directly for the program.

The XLRI - Xavier School of Management has completed the Summer Internship Placement Process (SIP) for 2021-23 batch which saw stipends offered to students rise by 16 per cent. The median stipend for the entire batch rose to Rs 1.27 lakh per month and the average stipend offered was Rs 1.28 lakh per month. The highest stipend offered was Rs 6.8 lakhs for two months in the BFSI Sector.
The 2021-23 batch is XLRI's largest batch with 470 students of business management and human resource management programmes offered in both XLRI Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses.
XLRI students got placed in companies like Amazon, The Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Company, Accenture Strategy, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, Aditya Birla Group, and HUL. The average monthly stipend for the top 10 percentile students was INR 1,82,000 per month, while for top 25 percentile students the stipend stood at INR 1,63,500 per month, an official statement said.
Most students were placed in the sectors of consulting, sales and marketing, and BFSI. Twenty five per cent students were recruited in consulting and advisory firms while IT and e-commerce firms recruited 22 per cent of the students from the batch.
The FMCG sector recruited 17 per cent of the batch while BFSI recruited a select 10 per cent of the batch for some of their most coveted roles.
Xavier School of Management said in a press note: "XLRI has proven to be the preferred campus by recruiters for Product Management roles, with IT giants like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Media.net, Walmart Global Tech visiting XLRI with their prestigious Product Manager and Program Manager roles."

The rooms are spacious and well ventilated and there is single occupancy. The meals offered too are decent in quality. You get an option to chose from both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The hostel fees are inclusive of the total fees you pay and so is the mess fee. For the mess, you have to pat 18,000 per term but that included does not cross the 25 lac mark mentioned in one of the previous answers.
The campus offers single accommodation. The rooms are spacious and offer proper lighting and cross-ventilation. The facilities include mess providing meals 4 times a day, laundry, TV room, common areas with pool table, table tennis, etc. The food menu is taken care of by a student-run committee.
