CBSE result in 2020 out to be soon

Due to the outbreak of the pandemic the exams were postponed before & then the exams were canceled. Only the 10th CBSE exams were canceled & 12th CBSE exams were on hold or they had been provided with the option.
Getting over the confusion & all of the random decisions finally CBSE board. Is going to declare the results in 2020 out soon.

The board said that the assessment scheme is as per the suggestions of a “competent committee” for the declaration of CBSE board results. The assessment scheme will be binding for both the CBSE Class 10th result and CBSE Class 12 result. Around 30 lakh students are waiting for their results across the country.

Declaration of results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results in 2020 based upon the assessment scheme by July 15. Nearly 18 lakh students are awaiting their class 10 result and another 12 lakh awaiting their class 12 result. Once the results are declared, students will be able to check their class 10, and 12 board exam results online at cbseresults.nic.incbse.nic.in and results.nic.in.
The board will publish CBSE result 2020 10th and 12th on official result portal- cbseresults.nic.in 2020. Apart from this, students can use Google search engineSMS serviceIVRS facilitySMS organizer app, and other methods to check CBSE board result 2020.

How to check results?

The board will provide CBSE exam result 2020 10th, 12th through a number of methods listed below:

  • Online Portal
  • SMS
  • IVRS
  • DigiLocker
  • Google Search Engine
  • SMS Organizer app


1) Process of online mode

  • Go to the official website: cbseresults.nic.in or cbsc.nic.in the 2020 result.
  • Click on ‘Senior Secondary Result (Class XII) 2020’/ Secondary School Result (Class X) 2020 link.
  • Enter roll number, school number, center number, and admit card number.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The online cbse.nic. As a result, 2020 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save CBSE exam result 2020 by taking a screenshot of the same.

2) Process of SMS mode

  • Open SMS application on your mobile phone.
  • Type an SMS: cbse10<space>roll number<space>date of birth<space>school number<space>centre number or
  • Type cbse12 <rollno> <sch no> <center no>
  • Send it to 7738299899.
  • You will receive the result on your mobile phone as a text message.

Assessment scheme.

As per the assessment scheme for CBSE results, students who have appeared in more than three subjects will be awarded an average of the best three subjects for those exams which have not taken place.
CBSE said that students who have appeared in only one or two subjects will be assessed based on their “performance in the appeared subjects” and “performance in internal, practical or project assessment.”
For students who have written exams in all subjects, results will be declared on the basis of these exams as per standard practice.
CBSE said that it will also hold an “optional examination” for Class 12 students who wish to improve their performance. The dates for these optional examinations are yet to be decided.

Evaluation of papers

The board had initiated the evaluation process for the already conducted board exams on May 10, 2020. This year, the answer sheets were moved from 3,000 designated schools to the residences of qualified evaluators who checked them from their homes. Nearly 1.5 crore answer sheets in 173 subjects were sent for evaluation.

Petition filed

Earlier, the board had decided to conduct the pending CBSE 10th and 12 examinations from July 1 to July 15. Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases, on Tuesday, June 9, Col (Retd) Amit Bathla, Poonam Singla, Charu Singh, and Sunitha all of them Delhi residents filed a petition asking the apex court to quash the CBSE board exams.

Last year’s results

Last year, a total of 31,14,831 students registered for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The CBSE Class 10 results were declared on May 6 at around 2:20 pm. In class 10, as many as 13 students scored 99.9 percent. Further, Bhavana N Sivadas from Kerala became the all India topper in CBSE Class 10th exams by getting 499 marks out of 500.
In 2019, the CBSE Class 12 results were announced on May 2 at a press conference. In the board examinationHansika Shukla (DPS Meerut road-Gaziabad ) and Karishma Arora NC public school (Muzaffarnagar) topped the CBSE 12th board exams by getting 99 percent. As per previous year data, a total of 83.4 percent of students passed the examination and the top-performing region was Trivandrum with a pass percentage of 98.2 percent.
