Age Relaxation

The age relaxation is also available for the students belonging to different categories or minority sections:

Educational Qualification

The Bachelor’s degree/Graduation from any recognized university in required discipline is the primary required qualification for APPSC Group 1 Recruitment exam.

District Fire Officers in A.P. Fire Service. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/or any equivalent degree from a recognized university (Fire).
Asst. Treasury Officer/Asst. Accounts Officer in A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Commerce from a UGC-accredited university with a minimum grade of 2nd in the subject/ Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom or India, or incorporated Accountants (London).
District Social Welfare Officer in A.P. Social Welfare Service Bachelor’s degree from an affiliated Indian university or a University Grants Commission-affiliated institution under the Central Act, State Act, or Provincial Act /bachelor’s degree in social work or sociology.

Exam Pattern

The rest details are mentioned below:

  • For the session 2022-23 the APPSC recruitment exam will be based on two stages; Prelims examination & Mains examination
  • The Prelims stage consists of two papers; Paper 1 & Paper 2
  • The Mains stage consists of Qualifying Paper in Telugu and in English, Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3, Paper 4, and Paper 5
  • This exam is a computer-based test (CBT) with objective type questions in both papers
  • Followed by APPSC Group 1 Interview as the last process for selection
  • A total of 240 questions will be asked during prelims divided into Paper 1 & Paper 2 & the duration of the exam will be 120 minutes each
Prelims Exam Pattern Details

Paper 2 120 question of 01 marks each
  • Each question carry a 01 mark
  • The mains exam contains different questions carrying different marks
  • The duration for each paper will be 180 minutes with a total of 150 marks
  • All the papers should be attempted either in Telugu or English, and only one language should be used for attempting each paper
