Eligibilty Criteria

In order to be eligible to appear for the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment, APSC has laid down a few basic eligibility conditions that one must fulfil in order to apply for any post in the APSC. The basic eligibility criteria for set by the APSC for a candidate to apply for the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment is discussed below:

APSC Junior Engineer Eligibility: Nationality

For the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment, a candidate must be only a citizen of India.

The candidate must also be a permanent resident of the Assam state.

APSC Junior Engineer Eligibility: Educational Qualification

  • Candidates who have completed their Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Recognized Institute or University in India, as the Educational Qualification are eligible to apply.
  • A certificated degree from institutions that are government-approved.
  • Candidates that have a degree in Electrical, Civil, & Mechanical Engineering are only eligible to apply.

APSC Junior Engineer Eligibility: Age Limit

Candidates with the age of 18 Years to 38 Years are eligible to apply for APSC Junior Engineer Job.

The age relaxation criteria for the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment is as follows:

Exam Pattern

The Assam Public Service Commission will be announcing the APSC JE Exam Pattern anytime soon. However, candidates can prefer the previous year exam pattern for their preparation which is as given below:

  • A total of 200 marks is there for the written exam.
  • Section A and Section B include 100 objective questions.
  • Each correct answer will add 2 marks to the tally.
  • You have to attempt this exam within 2 hours duration.
  • A negative marking of 1 mark is expected for wrong answers.
