Eligibilty Criteria

Candidates must be graduated in any of the disciplines from the recognized college or university. The minimum age limit for the Bihar police Service is 21. Candidates from the general category can apply if their age is up to 37 and those who belong to the OBC category must be of age 40.

Candidates must be a Citizen of India. Candidates must have completed the graduation degree in any major from any recognized institute or university.

Bihar Police Age limit:

  • Police Sub Inspector:- The minimum age limit will be 20 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years.
  • Probation Officer, Labor Enforcement Officer, Rural Development Officer, Supply Inspector, Block SC & ST Welfare Officer:– the minimum age limit will be 21 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years for the general category.
  • For all other posts:- the minimum age limit will be 22 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years

Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Structure

  • The Bihar Police SI Prelims exam is designed offline mode in written mode
  • Questions are designed in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) form.
  • Candidates need to have at least 30% marks in the exam to qualify for this round and get shortlisted for the Mains exam.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.2 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern

  • The Bihar Police SI Mains exam is taken offline in written mode
  • Questions are asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) forms
  • Candidates need to have at least 30% marks in the General Hindi Paper is qualifying for the exam. Marks obtained in Hindi paper will not be taken for the merit list
  • There will be a deduction of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer
  • The number of Candidates selected for the Physical Test will be 6-times more than the Vacancies available for the post.
