Registration

Candidates must fill and submit the BTSC SMO recruitment application form via online mode to appear in the exam. Candidates can follow the following steps to fill out the application form for the examination.

The first step for the candidate is to register themselves on the official website of the exam. Check the following steps to complete the registration process:

Visit the Official Website
Look for the notification displaying new registration and click on it.
Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id, etc.
Click on Submit.
Note down the system-generated registration ID and Password.

BTSC SMO Application Process 2022

Candidates need to fill up the application form with the help of the following steps:

Log in with the registration ID and Password on the official website
Fill in all the necessary information in the application form such as educational details, preference for exam centers, etc.
Now, candidates need to upload the scanned images of their signature and a passport-sized photograph.
Preview the application form and make required corrections if any.
Pay the Fee

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the BTSC. If the candidates do not meet these eligibility criteria, they may be disqualified at a later exam stage. The detailed eligibility criteria are given below:

BTSC SMO Educational Qualification 2022

The candidates should have an MBBS degree from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India also a post-graduate degree or an equivalent course.
A candidate having an MBBS Degree with a one-year rotating internship followed by a three-year MD/MS/Diploma from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India is also eligible to apply for the post of Special Medical Officer.
A candidate with a 4.5-year degree including a one-year internship from an international university recognized by the MCI and has secured passing marks in the FMGE test is also eligible to apply for the post of Special Medical Officer.
