Eligibilty Criteria

The official notification of the Air Force Group Y recruitment 2022 will release the eligibility criteria for the candidates that are interested in pursuing the Air Force Group Y exam. However, the notification for the exam has not been released yet.

As per the previous notification i.e., the notification of 2021, only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Similarly, only the candidates who have been born between 16th January 2001 to 29th December 2004 are eligible for this recruitment.

Indian Air Force Group Y Education Qualification 2022

  • The candidates must have passed the higher secondary equivalent examination in any stream that is approved by the central or state education boards.
  • The candidates who have passed the vocational course of two years are also eligible for the Air Force Group Y recruitment 2022.

Indian Air Force Group Y Age Limit 2022

The candidates who are willing to apply for the Air Force Group Y recruitment 2022 must have to be between the age limit of 18 to 21 years. Only the students of this age limit criteria are eligible for the recruitment.

Indian Air Force Group Y Nationality 2022

The candidates belonging to India and Nepal, having relevant documents are eligible for the Air Force Group Y recruitment 2022. The candidates who belong to other nationalities except for India and Nepal will be rejected for the recruitment.

Exam Pattern

The Air Force Group Y recruitment 2022 includes three phases of the selection process. These three phases include an online test, a physical fitness test, and a medical examination.

The candidates have to qualify for all these three tests to get eligible for the job in the Air Force Group. These three phases of the selection process are mentioned below-

Indian Air Force Group Y Written Exam

The online written test is the first phase of the selection process, which every student must have to qualify for being eligible for the second and third phases. The online written test is conducted for 50 marks. The questions in the online written test are related to English, general awareness, and reasoning.

The time duration provided for this test is 45 minutes. The detailed information about this test is given below in a table-

Indian Air Force Group Y Physical Ability Test

After the online written test, the qualified candidates then have to attempt the physical fitness ability test to get one step closer to the jobs under the Air Force Group Y 2022.

The detailed information about this phase is mentioned below in a table-

Once the candidate has qualified these two phases of the examination, they are called for the third stage medical exam.

The online written test is the most important and first step that every student needs to qualify for being eligible for the next two phases i.e., physical fitness test, and medical test of the selection process.
