Eligibilty Criteria

The aspirants must be sure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for ICG Yantrik recruitment 2022. Here we can divide eligibility criteria into two sections:

  1. Educational criteria
  2. Age criteria and other information
Edu Qualification

ICG Yantrik Recruitment Educational Qualification

  • Aspirants must have a 10th pass certificate from a recognised education board.
  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication engineering approved by the All India Council of Technical Education with 60% in aggregate recognised by AICTE.
  • SC/ST candidates will get a 5% relaxation in the minimum cutoff.
  • Any aspirants who have outstanding records in sports at the national level will also get a 5% relaxation in the minimum cut-off.

ICG Yantrik Age Criteria:

Male candidates between 18- 23 years are eligible to apply for the posts. SC/ST/ candidates will get 5 years in age relaxation benefits and OBC Candidate can get 3 years in age relaxation benefits.

Exam Pattern

As above mentioned the ICG Yantrik recruitment process is followed by four stages where first is a written offline test. In this test, the question paper has five sections and all are based on MCQs pattern. There is no negative marking in this exam. The aspirants who clear this stage are eligible to appear for the 2nd stage where he gives his physical fitness test and it is qualifying in nature.

After qualifying both stages merit candidates are invited for the medical examination. The candidates who clear stage 3 are eligible to get training at INS Chilka and ask to present their original documents for verification.
