Eligibility Criteria For Post-Graduate Engineers/ Officers

The eligibility criteria for post-graduate engineers or officers is a Master's degree in subjects like mechanical, chemical, and computer engineering and also a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, and computer engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Engineers/ Officers

The eligibility criteria for graduate engineers or officers are subjects according to their posts. For chemical engineering, chemical, petrochemical, polymer, plastic engineering disciplines are allowed.

IOCL Age Limit 2022

The minimum age of applicants to apply for IOCL vacant posts is 18 years and the maximum age is 24 years. The IOCL age limit for the general category is twenty-eight years. Relaxation for reserved category applicants will be as per the government regulations. The IOCL age limit for an assistant officer in quality control is 30 years.

IOCL Age Relaxation:

The government has recently given relaxation for all categories. Age relaxation up to 10 years has been given to PWD category and 5 years to Domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir and Ex-Servicemen and commissioned officers. To see relaxation for all categories, you can see the table given below:

Exam Pattern

In order to crack the IOCL exam, applicants must be aware of the IOCL Exam Pattern and Syllabus. It is necessary to have a clear idea about IOCL exam patterns before starting your preparation.

The exam consists of100 questions. Each question contains 1 mark and the type of exam is objective. IOCL exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi) and will be of 90 minutes duration and there is 1/3rd Negative marking in the exam.

Although there is no negative marking for the Numerically Ability section. The IOCL exam pattern for various posts are given below:
