Eligibilty Criteria

The JK Police recruitment eligibility criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the last year i.e. 2021. The eligibility criteria are not expected to change much, so candidates can follow the same process as last year. Candidates appearing for the JK Police Constable examination should possess the following:

Nationality and Domicile Candidates must be an Indian citizen and to have a domicile in Jammu and Kashmir
Educational Qualifications Any candidate with a passed matriculation examination (10th) from any Government recognized Board should apply
Age Limit 18 - 28
Age Limit Relaxation (General) 37 years ( Home Guards; 3 yrs experience)
Age Limit Relaxation (SC/ST) 48 years

JK Police Physical Standard Test 2022

After the candidates have completed their Physical Standard Test (PST) at multiple centers, the Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board will recommend shortlisted candidates to qualify for Physical Endurance Test.

JK Police Physical Endurance Test 2022

The details are given below in the table:

Pushups 20 (each cycle counts as one). -
Shot Put (4 kgs) - 14.5 feet in three attempts.
Exam Pattern

Following the PET and PST rounds, the JK Police will conduct a written test for candidates. Those selected in the PST and PET Tests can only sit for the written test. As a result, applicants have more time to complete the examination. The exam pattern for JK Police Constable 2022 is mentioned in the table below:
