About
Jammu and Kashmir Sub Inspector is an exam conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB). The Sub Inspector exam is held every year for the Union Territory cadre post. Only those candidates who hail from Jammu and Kashmir are eligible for this exam.
Both males and females can apply for the sub-inspector post. However, candidates must check their eligibility before applying for this post.
Latest Notification
Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) will soon roll out the notification for Sub Inspector (SI) on its official website. The exam for the Sub Inspector post will be conducted online in bilingual mode (English and Hindi). The selected candidates will be posted in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Registration

Registration is the first step of the application process. A step-by-step guide to the registration process is listed below:
Step 1: Visit the JKSSB official website.
Step 2: From the drop-down menu click on “Apply Online”
Step 3: Next, select “New User”
Step 4: Complete the registration process by uploading the important scanned documents.
JKSSB Sub Inspector Apply Online
After registration the next step is to fill out the application form. Follow the given steps to complete the application process:
Step 1: After registration, login and fill out the form by entering personal information like name, residence, etc.
Step 2: Upload the asked documents.
Step 3: Pay the application fee and click on the submit button.

Admit Card
JKSSB Sub Inspector Admit Card 2022
Candidates can download the admit card a few days before the exam. They should keep a check on the official website for the release of admit cards. However, the Jammu and Kashmir Sub Inspector admit card for the current year will be released after the release of notification.

Step 2: Look for the hall ticket link on the website.
Step 3: Click the link and log in to our portal by entering the asked details.
Step 4: After login, download the hall ticket and take a printout of it.
Eligibility Criteria
The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board has not released the notification for the Sub-Inspector post. The JKSSB determines the eligibility criteria that a student must fulfill to appear for the exam. According to the previous year’s notification, minimum eligibility requirements are age, qualification, and nationality. Hence, let’s see the eligibility criteria for 2021:
JKSSB Sub Inspector Educational Qualification
The minimum educational qualification for the sub-inspector is graduation in any degree from a recognized university.
JKSSB Sub Inspector Age Limit
To apply for this sub-inspector, post applicants must meet the age requirement. Candidates can check the previous year’s age limit. As per last year's notification, the age limit is 18-28 years.
JKSSB Sub Inspector Nationality
Apart from educational qualification and age limit, the nationality of the candidate is also an important criterion. To be eligible for this exam, an applicant must be Indian. Besides, candidates must be residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates from other states are not eligible to apply.

- For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
