Eligibilty Criteria

The Kolkata Police SI Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the previous year. Not many changes are expected in the eligibility criteria so candidates can follow the previous year's eligibility criteria. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria have three components:

Kolkata Police SI Educational Qualifications

Candidates who are willing to apply for Kolkata Police SI Recruitment 2022 should have a completed graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized central/state-based university/institution.

Kolkata Police SI Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens and have a Domicile of West Bengal state.

Kolkata Police SI Age Limit and Relaxaition

  • Minimum Age: The applicant must be at least 20 years old on 1st January 2022.
  • Maximum Age: The applicant must not be more than 27 years old on 1st January 2022.
  • The age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to special categories for maximum age limit such as SC/ST, ex-servicemen, OBC, etc as mentioned below

Exam Pattern

The recruitment process has four stages namely: Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination, and Personality Test. The written exam will be conducted in two different stages in the Kolkata Police SI recruitment process, that is the Preliminary exam, and the Final Combined Competitive Exam.
