  • Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate (pass for SC/ST/PWD applicants) and basic computer skills.
  • Candidates seeking a position in a particular recruiting office should be fluent in the language of the state/any of the states that come under the recruiting office (i.e., be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language).

RBI Grade B Eligibility 2022

The applicants of the RBI Grade-B examination must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. The RBI Grade B eligibility criteria are as follows:

RBI Grade B Eligibility: Age Limit

Candidates must fulfill the following age limit criteria to apply for the post of RBI Grade B which are given below:

  • The applicant's age must be between 21-30 years as of January 1, 2022.
  • There is age relaxation for applicants belonging to reserved categories, as per the norms of the Government of India.
  • The upper age limit for the applicants holding M. Phil qualification is 32 years and for the Ph. D degree is 34 years.

RBI Grade B Eligibility: Educational Qualifications

The educational qualification needed to be eligible to apply for the Post of RBI Grade-B Exam 2022 are mentioned below:

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR Applicants must have a Masters Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Integrated Economics Course/ Quantitative Economics with at least 55% of marks. (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD)
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM
  • Applicants must have a master's degree in Mathematics/ Economics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Econometrics/ Statistical and Informatics from IIT Kharagpur with at least 55% in all years, or
  • Master Degree in Mathematics/ PG Diploma in Statistics from reputed an Institute, or M. Statistics from ISI with 55% mark in all semesters, or
  • PG Diploma in Business Analytics from ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Calcutta with 55% of marks. (5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ PWD)

RBI Security Guard Eligibility 2022

The RBI Security Guard Eligibility Criteria involves four major parameters: Nationality, Age Limit, Educational Qualification, and Work Experience. Given below is a detailed explanation about each eligibility criterion for RBI Security Guard Recruitment 2022.

RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Nationality

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for the post.
  • The candidate should be a resident of the State/UT of the Recruitment zone to which he/she is applying to.

RBI Security Guard Age Limit and Relaxation

The Reserve Bank of India has set a particular age limit to be eligible for the RBI Security Guard Posts. The minimum age limit is 25 years for all categories and the upper limit age for the candidates is 45 years. However, candidates from reserved categories are offered age relaxation in the lower age limit. The minimum age limit of candidates falling under the different reserved categories are provided age relaxation. However, the maximum age limit is 45 years for all categories. Tabulated below is the age relaxation in the minimum age limit offered to candidates from reserved categories:

RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Work Experience

The aspirants who have work experience with proper military candidates are only eligible. The candidates must have the proper experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.

RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for RBI Security Guard candidates is as follows:

  • The candidates must be Class 10th/ SSC/ Matriculation passed from a recognized state board or equivalent.
  • Candidates who possess graduate or any other degree or higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
  • Ex-servicemen who have passed the Matriculation from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are eligible to apply for the post.
Exam Pattern

To be eligible for the RBI job, candidates must go through the following three stages of selection. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The exam pattern for the same is mentioned in the table below:

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Language Proficiency Test based on their performance in the Main Examination. Language proficiency testing will be conducted in the official language / local language of the State Concerned. Individuals who lack proficiency in the official/local language will be disqualified.
