The RRB JE recruitment is a process or exercise meant to recruit JE (Junior Engineer), CMA (Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) and Depot Material Superintendent (DMS).
The Railway Recruitment Board will release the official notification for the post of RRB JE IT in the following week.
Those candidates who are between the 18 to 33 years of age group are eligible to appear in the RRB JE IT 2022 examination.
Latest Notification
The official notification for the examination will be released on the official website of RRB http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/. Candidates will have to fill out the application forms released by RRB to appear in the RRB JE examination.
Registration
Candidates' online applications are accepted for the RRB JE IT post. The RRB does not accept application forms submitted in any other way. Candidates can apply online through the RRB website in a few simple steps, which are mentioned below:
Step 1: Go to the official website of RRB.
Step 2: Go to the 'RRB JE Information Technology Recruitment-2021' page and click on the 'RRB JE Information Technology Recruitment-2021' notice.
Step 3: Select the 'apply' option, which is highlighted in green.
Step 4: Create an account with a valid email address and phone number. Candidates must maintain their email address current until the recruitment process is completed.
Step 5: Fill in your personal and academic information.
Step 6: Click 'preview' after uploading the documents.
Step 7: Double-check all of the information before submitting it.
Step 8: Complete the application process by paying the application costs and downloading the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a certain position, candidates must first verify the eligibility requirements. All applicants must meet the RRB JE IT Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form, since their application may be declined if they do not meet any of the requirements. The Railway Recruitment Board established the following eligibility requirements in its RRB JE IT Recruitment Notification from the previous year:
RRB JE IT Educational Qualifications 2022
Different educational qualifications are required for different notified positions. Either of the qualifications listed below will be necessary. The qualification should come from a reputable university or educational board.
PGDCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or B.Tech. (Information Technology) or B.Tech. (Computer Science) or DOEACC 'B' level program of three years duration or equivalent from a recognized university/institute via regular or open and distance learning. Those candidates who are in their final year degree cannot apply for the post.
RRB JE IT Age Limit 2022
The RRB JE IT age limit is 18 to 33 years for general category candidates. There is relaxation in the upper age limit provided for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) category candidates.
Minimum and maximum age limits for the RRB JE IT exam are as follows:
- Minimum Age – 18 Years
- Maximum Age – 33 Years
RRB JE IT Age Relaxation 2022
The candidate's age as of the specified date should be between 18 and 33 years. However, age relaxation is there. The details are given below-

RRB JE IT Nationality 2022
Candidates who want to take the RRB JE IT exam must be Indian citizens. An Indian-origin person with the intention of the permanent settlement who has migrated from the following countries:
- Burma
- Sri Lanka
- Pakistan
- Vietnam
- East African Countries
RRB JE IT Medical Standards 2022
According to RRB norms, aspirants appearing for the RRB JE IT exam must fall under the C-1 medical standard group. Candidates who do not fulfill the required physical or visual requirements will be disqualified from the RRB JE IT recruitment process. Aspirants with physical disabilities must complete the disability form and attach their supporting documentation.
Application Fee
Application fee is required of applicants for the various position of RRB 2022 Recruitment. The application fee varies depending on the category of applicants. The application fee for the post of RRB JE IT are listed below by category:
