Eligibilty Criteria

Some of the important positions offered by RRB are mentioned below along with their age criteria and required educational qualifications:

Finger Print Examiner 20-25 years Completed their higher secondary education (10+2) and should have a Certificate of All India Board of Examination of Finger Print Experts as conducted by the Government of India
Head Cook 18-30 Completed their higher secondary education (10+2)
Publicity Inspector 18-33 Must have completed their Graduation or Diploma from a recognized university
TGT/ Computer Science 18-45 Must have completed their Graduation in Computer Applications or B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university
Assistant Mistress (Junior School) 18-45 Must have completed their (10+2) Education and D.Ed/D.El.Ed. They should have also passed the Teacher Eligibility Test or T.E.T
Laboratory Assistant 18-45 Must have completed their (10+2) Education and should have relevant experience in Laboratory Science
Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English) 18-33 Candidates should have completed their Graduation and Post Graduation in Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject
PGT Teacher (English, Political Science, Physics, Geography, Biology) 18-45 1. Candidates should have completed their Graduation and Post Graduation with a compulsory or elective subject 2. For subjects such as Physics and Biology, candidates should have completed their 2 years of Integrated M.Sc or Post Graduation or B.Ed

RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Recruitment: Nationality

All the candidates are required to fulfil some basic eligibility criteria which may differ from category to category. Some of these important criteria are mentioned below:

Citizenship: The candidate can be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet. Indian Origin Candidates from the sovereign nations of Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or any other East African Country, to seek permanent residency.

RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories: Age Relaxation

Candidates can attempt the exam as many times as they want. The only important criterion is that candidates should fulfil the lower age limit of 18 years. However, some age relaxations are provided to candidates belonging to specific categories.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be for one and a half hours and there will be a negative marking of 1.5 marks for every incorrect answer. The Computer Based online test will be following the pattern as follows:
