About
The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board conducts annually the RSMSSB Forest Guard Exam for recruitment of Forest Guard and Foresters. The job profile includes maintaining forest reserves, protecting the species in the assigned region.
The candidates are selected for the post after going through the selection process, which consists of a written exam and a physical test. A total of 1128 vacancies are expected to be announced.

Registration
Once the candidates check eligibility criteria to know whether they are eligible or not to appear in the examination, the application process can be checked. The application process is conducted online mode. Candidates are required to follow these steps in order to fill the application form.
Step 1: Visit the official page of the RSMSSB by clicking on the link-
Step 2: Before application, the candidates are required to Register themselves by clicking on the Register option.
Step 3: On clicking the registration option, log in using your credentials.
Step 4: After logging in, details like email id, name contact and other details will be asked. Fill in the required details.
Step 5:After filling in all the required details, click on "submit" to turn in the application form.
Step 6: After submission, upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
Step 7: After completion of all the above-mentioned steps, view the application form to check the details.
Step 8: Next step is to make payment for the application form as per your category.
Step 9: Download the receipt and save the application form after the completion of all the steps mentioned above.
Step 10: The candidates can now download the application and save a copy.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates need to qualify the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam of Forest Guard 2025. The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board conduct the exam for both Forest guard and Forester.

RSMSSB Forest Guard Age Limit Criteria
As per the latest guidelines issued, the minimum age for appearing in RSMSSB Forest Guard is 18 years and the maximum is 40 years. The age for Forester, as mentioned in the guidelines, is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years.
The board provides relaxation in upper age for certain categories. Below in the table, relaxations for every category are mentioned:

- All the candidates applying for RSMSSB Forest Guard must have passed 10th standard.

- The candidates should have passed the 12th class.

- There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the RSMSSB Forest Guard and Forester exam until the candidates fall under the age of 24-40 years.
- There is no prior experience required to apply for this post. The post is open to freshers.

Candidates clearing the written exam and physical test (PST &PET), will be shortlisted for this round. The interview round needs good General knowledge and current affairs regarding Rajasthan.
