Eligibilty Criteria

Candidates must have completed 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation, or equivalent qualification from a recognized board, university, or institute to apply for TS Police Recruitment 2022.

  • The minimum age requirement is 18 years
  • The maximum age allowed is 25 years
  • Students in the Reserved Category will be permitted a 5-year age relaxation.
  • The age restriction for Home Guards is set at 40 years old.

Telangana Police Preliminary 2022 Exam Pattern

Candidates are judged on their aptitude skills and general knowledge in the preliminary exam, which is the first round of elimination. This round is made up of multiple-choice questions that must be answered in a limited amount of time.

The preliminary examination consists of 200 multiple-choice questions that must be completed in three hours. There are no penalties for making a mistake. English, Telugu, and Urdu are the three languages available for the exam.

Telangana Police Main Exam Pattern 2022

The Telangana Police Main Exam is the final step in the selection process, and it assesses a candidate's aptitude and analytical abilities.

The descriptive type component assesses a candidate's decision-making and writing abilities, and a candidate must pass this section to be considered for the desired job position.

  • The main examination is 3 hours long and includes both objective and descriptive components.
  • To be chosen for the final round of interviews, candidates must qualify in both sections.
  • For each incorrect attempt, 25% of the allotted mark is deducted. (1/4th negative marking)
