Eligibilty Criteria

The UKPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the last year i.e. 2021. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for UKPSC to appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria have three components.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications

Candidates aspiring to become lecturers upon the qualification of the UKPSC Examination should possess the following educational qualifications.

The educational qualification requirement is different for various subjects as explained below.

Sociology/ Geography/ Economics/ History/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Psychology/ English

  • Candidates must have a PG degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
  • Aspirants also need to have a B.Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Civics

  • Candidates must have a PG degree in Civics from a recognized university.
  • Aspirants also need to have a B.Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Biology

  • Candidates need to have a PG degree in Zoology or Botany from a recognized university.
  • Aspirants also need to have a B.Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Hindi

  • PG degree in Hindi from a recognized university.
  • Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit from a recognized university or having a Shashtri from a recognized university are also eligible.
  • Aspirants also need to have a B. Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Sanskrit

  • Candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or any of the following from a recognized university – Aacharya – Sahitya, Aacharya – Vyakran, Aacharya – Falit, Aacharya – Jyotish, Aacharya – Navya Vyakran, Aacharya – Ved, Aacharya – Tulnatmak darshan.
  • Aspirants should also have a B. Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Arts

  • Candidates should have a PG degree in Drawing and Painting from a recognized university.
  • Aspirants should also have a B.Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.

UKPSC Lecturer Educational Qualifications for Agriculture Science

  • Candidates should have a PG degree in Agriculture Science from a recognized university
  • Aspirants should also have a B. Ed. degree or LT diploma from a recognized University/ Institute.
