The age limit for the UPPSC Agriculture Service job is 21 to 40 years; however, the Selection Commission provides the following exemption for candidates from the reserved categories:

Senior Technical Assistant (Agronomy Branch) (Group B)
  • Postgraduate degree in Agronomy + Graduate
Senior Technical Assistant (Botany Branch) (Group B)
  • Postgraduate degree in Agro Botany or Plant reproduction with Science of the origin or Postgraduate degree in Botany with a specialty in genetics or Plant reproduction.
  • Must be a graduate in Agriculture.
  • Postgraduate degree in Entomology or Plant Pathology or M.Sc. (Plant Science) with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology.
  • Must be a graduate in Agriculture
Senior Technical Assistant (Plant Protection) (Group B)
  • Postgraduate degree in Agro Botany or Plant reproduction with Science of the origin or Postgraduate degree in Botany with a specialty in genetics or Plant reproduction.
  • Must be a graduate in Agriculture.
  • Postgraduate degree in Entomology or Plant Pathology or M.Sc. (Plant Science) with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology.
  • Must be a graduate in Agriculture
Senior Technical Assistant (Chemistry Branch) (Group B)
  • Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Chemistry, Soil Science, Soil Conservation university or institution.
  • Must be a graduate in Agriculture.
Senior Technical Assistant (Development Branch) (Group B)
  • Postgraduate degree in the field relevant with agriculture + graduate in agriculture.

UPPSC Agriculture Service Recruitment 2022: Nationality

Candidates applying for the UPSSC Agricultural Services position must be a citizen of India. Candidates from the country are able to apply for the UPSSC Agricultural Services position, but they must meet the eligibility criteria.

UPPSC Agriculture Service Recruitment 2022: Number of Attempts

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has placed no restrictions on the number of attempts. Candidates may apply for the position between the ages of 18 and 24, according to the UPPSC Agriculture Service Eligibility Criteria.
